Stem cell transplant?

Hi everyone, am glad to join this society of inspiring and strong people. I have been reading a lot of posts on here but no one seems to be talking about the only possible cure for this disease. So has anyone ever thought of having a transplant, especially for the little kids?

Hello, good question...I have thought about it but my daughter is only coming up 11 months. I personally will be waiting to see how the disorder will affect her, it’s not something I’m looking at or am I quite keen on at this moment but I personally need to do more research. Do you have any information or sources you can share?

Thanks for your reply Samrichards07. No,I do not have any information at this moment.am also doing research on it because I have an ss baby and honestly i have been thinking of a transplant very seriously when she gets older.so, i am in talks with my baby's hematologist to get more educated on the procedure, its pros and cons and all that. Once i find out more i will surely get back to you
