Is there a long term alternative to zoladex?
I'm 35 and I've been living with endo for 15 years. I have 3 children and requested a hysterectomy 3 years ago. I wasn't refused one but they went through the pros and cons and instead I decided to have a mirena coil. The coil lasted about 9 months as I couldn't take the awful side effects I was suffering

Hi everyone hope your all well. I'm due to have my 5th Zoladex injection tomorrow and I'm just about sick of feeling like a hypochondriac. My bone pain is getting worse my ankles, knees, elbows and fingers are so painful sometimes I feel I can barley walk. I've gained nearly a stone which makes me feel

Surviving
Diagnosed 8 years ago at age 71 with APC. PSA 160, Gleasons 9. Many glands affected in abdomen and around spine but no bone metastases. Went on to Zolacos which then used intermittantly. PSA driven down to below 1 then allowed to rise. This rise and fall continued until a couple of years ago with a gradual

Zoladex
Hi all, was just wondering what others experience with the zoladex injection was? This is a last resort treatment for me before they consider more surgery (I already had a laparoscopy last year) as nothing is helping. I have had 3 of the 4 injections so far and the pain is only mildly better, I'm still

Advice needed please. Should I opt for full Endo Excision plus Subtotal Hysterectomy and if so, who should perform the surgery?
Had my appointment with the surgeon who carried out my Laparoscopy yesterday. I was hoping to get a date for my hysterectomy as I was led to believe that I was to be put on the waiting list in December 15 when I started 6 months of Zoladex treatment. It turns out that this wasnt done so I was only placed

Zoladex and migraine
I've been on Zoladex for the last six months, with very few side effects. However, I had my first migraine last week and still have a headache. I am guilty of blaming everything on endo, but also know it might not be related at all. Has anyone else experienced headaches after months of nothing? What

New implant and feeling good today!
I've read lots of information about the Zoladex implant and now after two I'm happy it suits me and is working along the other HRT tablet. Not all works for all and its taken many years to get to this point. It's only temporary as this is preparing me for the big Op! I would like to know more abouts

Worrying about when the pain will return.
My excision surgery 11 weeks ago has been very successful as I have gone from pain relief everyday to hardly any in the 8 weeks. You would think great, lets get on with life but I keep finding myself wondering when the pain and endo will return. At my follow up appointment my consultant was talking

Endo and lack of labido ruining my marriage!
I've suffered with endo now for over 23yrs. It's been an everyday struggle for me and all around me. I've tried all the possible medication, pills, coil and I finally stuck with the Depo for 10yrs but that even stopped being effective. I've had 3 lap operations to remove and detach my bladder from my

JEKYLL AND HYDE
Been on zoladex for almost 16 months now with NO HRT. I think I'm losing it. The hot flashes and mood swings are incredibly ruthless and relentless. Like i can go from super sad for no reason at all to full on rage like Raaaaaage and suddenly back again. Genuinely feeling like jekyll and Hyde right about
