Zoladex?
Hi girls, I'm a bit desperate. I haven't had any relief since my laparoscopy in July, and no hormonal treatment has helped either. My gyno now wants me to try Zoladex for 3 months but I've heard that the side effects are terrible and I haven't found anyone with positive feedback about it. Could it help

New on this forum, need help for my Dad please
Hello everybody, My dad is in his 70s and in 2015 he had 6 weeks of daily radiation. He then had regular Prostap or Zoladex injections. The last injection was in October 2016. He's been going to his oncologist every few months to have blood tests. His PSA has been around 0.1 or 0 going back as far as

Gynaecologist appointment and feeling discouraged
Like many have mentioned on this forum "a general gynaecologist is not as good as the ones from the endometriosis centres. I finally saw a gynaecologist after a long waiting.I felt rushed and not being taken serious. lt was strongly suggested that I should start on Zoladex and HRT's asap to help with

Zoladex Injection/Aches and Pains
Just thought I would mention for anyone who maybe on this injection.... I have been having problems with my vision for the last week, so after reading that cataracts are a side effect of Zoladex, went to see my optician yesterday, and yes I have cataracts forming on both eyes. He thinks it is likely

Zoladex is it a good idea?
Hi all I've just been back to my consultant he gave me 3 options a hysterectomy which I said would be a very last resort. Another laparoscopy and the removal of my left ovary as this is the only side I ever seem to have cysts on or to have zoladex or prostap. I'm really concerned from reading the side

Fatigue help please
Hi all, I have recently been diagnosed with severe endometriosis at 22. I had the coil fitted during my lap and was put on zoladex a month after my lap. I'm up to my fourth injection next month and started the patches 2 weeks ago as I couldn't handle the hot flushes. I have found that I am sooooooo tired

Weight Gain - Zoladex
Hi Ladies I had my first injection of Zoladex 3 months ago with a low dosage HRT. This reduced my pains and swelling but of course did not suppress my hot flushes and skin break out. I have just had my second round of the injection to tie my over for another 3 months with a different HRT and within

2nd lap - advice needed
Hey everyone, I've just been referred for my second laparoscopy, and I wondered if anyone could give me some advice about hormonal treatments for afterwards.. On my first lap, I was advised to try the Mirena coil, which I did and it unfortunately didn't agree with me at all and I had to have it removed

Zoladex injection versus Oophorectomy.
Just wanted some advice if there is any one on here who has had ovary removal as opposed to having forced menopause with zoladex. I am really struggling with the side effects from the injection 5 months in, and wondering if losing my ovaries would be a better option. I know having another op is not

Flares of Nausea, Panic, Chills ..
Hiya! I'm at my wits end and I really don't know who or where to ask. I was diagnosed with PCOS at 14, Endo at 21 and have had a total of 5 operations and am now 31. I was told after last operation things were 'ok' but to go on Zoladex. As my problems have been lifelong and Zoladex is only a temporary

Severe endo. Choice of ovary removal or bowel surgery
Had quite a shock when I went back to my surgeon this week. He confirmed my diagnosis was severe endometriosis. I had though it was mild to moderate. He had warned me of the need for more surgery which I hadn't been keen on. I had started to brace myself for this bowel op after the sigmoidoscopy and

Countdown to operation date
Evening all. Long time no post. Lots has been happening but not happening quick enough. In the last two weeks I've been under the care of two new specialists who have got things moving. I've had internal scans (yes more) and my first MRI scan to help diagnose my endometriosis and how deep it goes
