Considering an Oopherectomy (for endo)
Hi Ladies, would anybody who has had this operation be able to share how it went, how you felt afterwards and how it affected your life generally, how the hrt has worked? I'm 42 and don't need ovaries for fertility reasons but confess the idea of removal disturbs me irrationally for some reason. It does

Hi, I'm 34 and have had endo symptoms since I was 19, I was diagnosed with stage one endo in the pelvic region via laparoscopy when I was 25, also had a 14cm ovarian cyst removed and they lasered the endo out it came back in a month. Had an awful time getting diagnosed, I know that is the usual story

Zoladex and hysterectomy?
Hi I've had endo for 27 years. Was free for 7 years and recently had a lap to remove endo. I'm still in pain 6 weeks later and saw my consultant on Thursday. We discussed zoladex and possible hysterectomy in 6 months. I'm keen to learn of others experiences and side effects and whether a hysterectomy

The pain is back - what can I do?
Hi ladies, So I have spent the past year on and off zoladex. The pain did go but as soon as I stop it comes back again. Zoladex was torture, the side effects were so bad and I only went through all that in the hope I might get a year or more pain free but 2 months after my last injection and after 1

For Better or Worse
Hoping for some advice, I had my 2nd Zoladex injection last Monday, and i'm certainly starting to feel the effects, hot flushes, sleepless nights, aching joints, nervousness and anxiety. I still have not actually been diagnosed with Endo - i am to try a 6 month course of Zoladex and take it from there

Anyone else had a repeat course of zoladex?
Just after some opinions and advice please! I had a 6 month course of zoladex last year following surgery, from February to July. My periods returned in September and I was then given the go ahead to try ivf in January. Sadly I had a recent miscarriage and then was hospitalised for a week with an acute

Lupron or zoladex?
Hi ladies, I have now been prescribed Zoladex injections for 6 months as my endometriosis is severe...but have read up on the awful side effects. Is Lupron any different/better and does anyone have any experiences with these drugs?

Feeling frustrated - Need to let off steam
I haven't posted here for a while but I've posted in the fertility forum many times recently. I thought my endo was under control after my surgery and 6 months of zoladex. So I went ahead as advised by my drs with my ivf journey in my hope for a baby. My first go at ivf in January was successful. I

Zoladex worry
Hi this is my first post.. I was diagnosed with endo a year ago following a lap.. I had it removed and the mirena put in at the same time.. Hi ladies! Looking for some success stories for myself and others here who are in a similar situation. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for about 3 years, and I'm 31. After looking into it and seeing on transvaginal ultrasound what appeared to be a ~5-6cm endometrioma on each ovary, I had

Zoladex?
Hi girls, I'm a bit desperate. I haven't had any relief since my laparoscopy in July, and no hormonal treatment has helped either. My gyno now wants me to try Zoladex for 3 months but I've heard that the side effects are terrible and I haven't found anyone with positive feedback about it. Could it help

New on this forum, need help for my Dad please
Hello everybody, My dad is in his 70s and in 2015 he had 6 weeks of daily radiation. He then had regular Prostap or Zoladex injections. The last injection was in October 2016. He's been going to his oncologist every few months to have blood tests. His PSA has been around 0.1 or 0 going back as far as
