It depends on how you go about it - If you get it on an NHS prescription you will only pay the charge of the prescription and then the administration via your GP/Nurse is free, if you get it through private consultation you will pay for the prescription as well as the item, Zoladex is very expensive so I would recommend the NHS route
I didn't pay for my first one because the nurse collected it from the pharmacy :/ I am due my 2nd tomorrow and have £0 and worried if I have to pay
You may well be exempt in that case, I can't imagine it's the "first one is free" type of scenario, it would probably just be worth asking her beforehand when you are there, if you can't pay for it and she is expecting you to it would definitely have come up in conversation by now - depending on where you are in the country she may have a scheme running with her pharmacy or some sort of funding that I don't get here, I work in a pharmacy so where I am I know zoladex is normally a standard charge - if you aren't collecting it, chances are you aren't paying for it
Well when I booked my follow up at reception, they said they order the injection :/
I had three months and had to pay the relevant NHS prescription price for it each time. I bought a pre payment certificate which helps with the number of prescriptions u have to get and you save a lot of money. It's only free if you get it done in hospital
