What to do next?
So sad but my husband started Abiraterone in late December with a PSA of 937 and it was measured on Monday again. Result only just came in at 2764. Does not look like Abiraterone and zoladex combo had any effect on the PCa at all. Is there any harm in continuing with Abiraterone? It might be holding

Chest infection…could this be caused by Endo
Hi everyone. I just wanted to give you a bit of my history before I go on to ask my question. Sorry in advance for long post . I had a BSO in March last year during which it was confirmed I have Endometriosis, this wasn’t done by an Endo specialist however (I learned so much after the op about which

follow up
hi ladies I’m back again 😔 Following up on the laparoscopy I had in December where the gynaecologist doctor found nothing in the womb or ovaries. I didn’t really get on with him but he was my only choice in Lincoln I saw him today and took my partner with me this time as reassurance. The doctor

Further treatment - Update
I had biopsy 03.09.07 (Gleason score 3+7) and prostatectomy 10.11.07. PSA started to rise soon after. Since then I have had radiation and been more or less on Zoladex injections the whole time. I started Xtandi in April 2019 and switched to Nubeqa December 2021. The PSA started to rise in fall 2021

agonist versus antagonist issue
Switching to Degarelix or maybe the oral version after 5 months of monthly goserelin implant ? With the evidence on cardio and other risks reduced with using an antagonist such as degarelix or relugolix what’s the view on the benefits of doing this when having already started in the RT plus goserelin

Hqve you heard this... 'Pregnancy can cure it we don't know why'
I've been told from a scan it is expected I have adenomyosis. They've done a lap and it was negative to endo, and they're going to do an MRI. Theyve said if the MRI is clear then I should maybe have a baby as it has been shown to help and potentially stop all symptoms of the condition. Anyone else been

Bilateral sciatic? Tingly, limb weakness not disc related!
Hi lovelies, Currently writing this from a hospital bed ( missing an endometresiosis support group I said I'd go to today!) just to see if anyone else has had anything simular. 3 days ago started to get reduced limb sensation ( both limbs), numbness, tingling and some shooting pain. When walking legs

Updates- 😱😤🤯🧐
Hi Feel like the only ones that will understand are people who are the same as me. I previously posted that I had been listed for surgery as a priority 2. So I saw two consultants this week and was told that I havent been listed at all. 🤯😵😤 However both the consultants I have seen were brilliant

Hi Ladies, have any of you had successful surgery to help with Thoracic/Diaphragmatic endometriosis? Post RT decisions on ADT and relative risk benefit
apologies for long ramble again … Next month I discuss how long to stay on HT (zoladex) after RT last December. I can feel like dealing with some multi headed hydra trying to balance risks/benefits especially as I have G9 (albeit maybe locally contained) and my personal comorbidities. As I reflect

Coming off GNRH analogues
Hi, I have been on prostrap and then zoladex for the past 2.5 years. This was to help with pain which it did initially and i have been waiting for so long for an op. One year ago my consultant said persevere bit longer. Its only licensed for a 6 months and I'm concerned that I'm doing more damage

What to expect finishing Zoladex injections - help!
Hi ladies, I have been taking monthly Zoladex for Endo since December 2021 and around 6 weeks ago had my last injection. The Gynae did not tell me what to really expect when I stopped having these injections, just that my period could come back within a week or take months. The last 2 days I have

2nd round after years, what to do - I've forgotten everything!
Hi everyone, I've not been here since my first round of egg collection in 2019 I think, which was disastrous with only 2 matured eggs and no resulting embryos. The failure came after multiple surgeries and being very unwell with severe endometriosis and it hit me hard. I've had another surgery and
