Hello everyone, I'm bex I'm 33 with 2young kids. I got diagnosed with a rare severe case of endometriosis 6 years ago. I have had endless scans tests medicationsand even an operation to remove a large endometriotic lump removed. For 6 years I've been in crippling pain all around my uterus area my bum, legs and back. I have horrible severe spontaneous bleeding. Slight movement in certain ways sneezing coughing or just relaxing would trigger the horrific pain. I was put on zoladex injecti9ns for 10months in preparation for a full abdominal hysterectomy, which I had done in October 2022. But unfortunately now all the symptoms had previously apart from the bleeding has resurfaced. I'm happyto tell my full story! But I need some help and advise I'm struggling physically and mentally. Thank you in advance, bex xx

Help needed
Hi, really sorry to hear this, it must be so hard for you, especially managing with the kids, and no doubt you were hoping the surgery would sort everything.
I can’t really advise except that you need to ask to be seen again by the gynaecologists- I presume it was a specialist BSGE centre where you were treated. Your GP should be able to help you with pain relief and the BSGE centre may have a pain specialist as well. It is certainly not unknown for people to find pain persisting after menopause / hysterectomy. Have a search through previous posts here for some examples.
Sadly you might find that the gynaecologists are reluctant to see you again as your endo is supposed to be ‘ sorted’ so you may have to push to get treatment. I hope you get some help soon though xx
