Re Tizanidine and GCA
Hi everyone, I looked at the studies at the NIH for GCA. There is a new one. Link: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23663684 from the text: "These cytokines activate macrophages, giant cells and vascular smooth muscle cells, thus inducing vascular remodelling which leads to the ischaemic manifestations

Tizanidine -- reduces vasospasm significantly
Hello Everyone, posting this information I have just found from NIH, which is the National Institute of Health in the U.S. a credible government agency: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11086815 It concerns vasospasm in the arteries and taking tizanidine. It is technical. The paper says that tizanidine

Prescribed Tizanidine for migraine headaches
Hi Everyone, Wondering if anyone has used tizanidine for pain? My migraine doctor recently prescribed it for the combination headaches I now get, which seem to be both from the temporal arteritis and migraine headaches. I have spoken with my doctor about side effects and will be seeing her Wednesday

ever since I came off baclofen (the withdrawal hell is finally ending. many thanks to wellbutrin), my clonus has been veeeeery bad, to the point that i want to avoid walking. pretty much bedridden. thankfully my job is a work from home type of job (translations). even the slightest weight on my toes

Brain Fog
Included in this group are names which may be familiar: Ranitidine, Cimetidine, Famotidine and
Nizatidine
. The list of drugs that can cause brain fog is quite extensive. I've only skimmed the surface. Doctors and pharmacists certainly can identify many more.
