Feeling pathetic...
Sitting at the hospital in the midst of a synacthen test and feeling sorry for myself. So I thought I'd vent on here to a group of lovely folk who understand what it's like to appear normal on the outside but struggling on the inside! Like most on here I hate having to admit I can't do what I used to

my day took a dive.
My brother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. His surgery early this morning revealed the cancer had spread undetected. They ended the procedure and sent him home giving him 6 months to live. Life seems random and impersonal. My son’s dog Roxie understands.

Ultra sensitive psa
As my MO basically doesn't want to engage in conversation during my 5 min appointments as he feels it's an insult to his managing my case I was wondering after 7 rounds of docetaxil why he decided to do an Ultra sensitive PSA instead of just a good o PSA. I've not reached an undetectable number as of

This study indicates not enough metastatic PCa patients are having Next Generation Sequence testing (NGS)
This cohort study indicates that more and earlier NGS testing may prolong the radiographic survival of patients with BRCA or other homologous recombination repair (HRR) alterations. Is there a link between hemangiomas and Hughes Syndrome.
Hi, I have many autoimmune diseases as well as triple positive APs. Spinal scans have shown five hemangiomas on my spine. Another appeared on my trunk when I were in my teens and was surgically removed. Many smaller one's over the years have appeared on my scalp, face, chest and trunk. Does anyone

Ex NAFLD club
HiI want to form a club of ex NAFLD sufferers. You would have to achieved a clear diagnosis, 'no fibrosis' no fat infiltration. Of course we would have a club tie and big ourselves up why not? But we would also unashamedly promote the healthy diet and exercise that can conquer this dreadful insiduous

Should I undergo Triplet therapy?
Was diagnosed with stage-4 prostrate cancer with metastasis to lymph nodes and bones in April 2024. PSA was 400 when diagnosed and it shot up to 700 in a month. Started with Lupron and Nubeqa. PSA has come down to 8 in 2 months. Next PSA test (after 3rd month) is tomorrow. My Oncologist wants to

PSMA scans-any update?
Saw this link this morning. Any update on this research or trials? Kinda describes my situation: after surgery and radiation PSA climbing. PSMA showed metastatic lymph nodes. Rather than watch and wait, they were radiated. PSA now seems to have dropped. Thanks. https://youtu.be/usXbPe_1YYc?si=cZB8L4YZ7y0w7qSJ
