Reacting to the Virus
: Kleenex, Acetaminophen (Tylenol) in 325 mg tablets, Ibuprofen (Advil) in 200 mg tablets,
Mucinex
, Robitussin or DayQuil/NyQuil, whatever your cough medicine of choice is. If you don’t have a humidifier, that would also be a good thing to get.

"cough" that needs to be more productive .
I am taking
Mucinex
, and antibiotic.....but the cough I have is affecting my COPD and is "tight". The
Mucinex
seems to be helping "somewhat" but is there something else out there to help bring the "stuff" up more efficiently?

How to get a more productive cough...
How can I get a more productive cough , I am taking
Mucinex
, and antibiotic, but the chest cough is tight and affects my breathing better. The doctor wants the "phlegm" to come up, and for it to be clear somewhat; because that is what is causing this "tight cough".

Hi from Marie Love
I'm taking
Mucinex
. Drinking a lot of water. This isn't the first time I've done this. I was reluctant to post this because I know the importance of not smoking with lung disease. I like to be honest on here, so I may get honest feedback from you.

Another fever. Another infection?!
Nurse had given him Hyoscyamine Sulfate .0125 mg to "dry up secretions" and we stopped
Mucinex
because he can't produce anything to cough up and out, it just seems to rattle around in his chest and throat. The Hyoscyamine likely knocked him out.

Hopeless asthmatic
I take regular
mucinex
sometimes- which I thought was helping but lately I’m not so sure. I’m losing hope. I am sick and tired of waking up in the middle of the night feeling like I am suffocating.

I saw my doctor today who gave me
mucinex
-D, prednisone 50mg and a Zpack. 3 hours after taking my first Dose of these meds I started to feel my SVT come back. I’ve had 5-6 episode of it that last 5-10 seconds a piece of the SVT.

Weird sensations after taking cold/flu medications
I will say I've only taken DayQuil in liquid form,
Mucinex
DM in tablet form and a few others I've taken in either form (can't remember what they were). Each and every time I do, I experience moderate to severe drowsiness and a high mild to moderate dizziness.

Best guaifenesin I've found
I've tried them all,
Mucinex
, Kirkland brand, Geri-Care, liquid (too much high fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners and too much money! and so inconvenient) Dye-Free, Sugar Free, Salicylate & Gluten Free -Ultra Pure - and in a capsule to get the meds in me more quickly.

Pulmonology visit today, emotional roller coaster of a day
He said to continue to take Claritin for my allergies and
Mucinex
for chest congestion. Today before my appointment I pushed myself to do my 2 1/2 mile walk. It was tough but I told myself "I can do it and nobody or nothing is going to stop!"

Cough and Mucus
Have tried
Mucinex
and currently ACC long (this is a soluble form of Acetylcystein - usually used in the UK for paracetamol overdose) and tend to use it everyday. They certainly give significant relief during the day but at night its a different story.
