Ringing in ear caused by cold or altitude change

I’ve been having ringing in my left ear for several days after landing from a flight, will liquid Mucinex help relieve this?

Sounds like tinnitus. I got it from medication. Nothing helps, in my case I hope it will disappear when I stop the medication. In your case I don’t know. It might well go away by itself. I had it once after a transatlantic flight and reckon it was due to me having a bit of a cold. If somebody spoke to me it was like I was in a box and the ringing was really annoying. It cleared up after 5 or 6 days
