3 month scan
Hello, my oncologist told me my first 3 month CT scan showed stable. Perhaps it is too early to show Improvement, and I am relieved and thankful that it didnt show worse, but I must admit I was hopeful for a better result. Would you be satisfied with stable at this stage. I have just completed

Dealing with expected incontinence after robot assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy
Hello all, I am looking for some detail on what supplies i should stock up on at home prior to having my catheter removed after my surgery on 11-21-19. Can a vasectomy fail?
I had a vasectomy in June this year. Thankfully I took plenty of bed rest and made a speedy recovery from the op. The soerm test after 8 or 12 weeks showed it was clear. I had asked the surgeon if the op could fail and my wife could get pregnant again. He said the rate of vasectomy failures is quite

Radical prostatectomy vs. external beam radiation therapy in Gleason 9-10.
New German/Italian/Canadian study below [1]. "Gleason Score (GS) 9-10 prostate cancer is associated with particularly adverse oncological outcomes and the optimal treatment is unknown. Perineurial invasion with stage 2 prostate cancer
I am 67 and just received my path report. Stage 2, Gleason 3+4=7 and says perineurial invasion present. I know that invasion could allow reoccurrence and spread outside of prostate. First meeting with Dr. tomorrow. Not sure his recommendations but I think the radical prostatectomy would be my best

Amelioration of ADT Brain Smog
I have been on ADT continuously since February 2016 and in general I have tolerated Lupron (in my case) fairly well. The hot flashes have diminished in frequency and intensity over time. I have found that exercise, keeping cool by not over dressing and maintaining a positive state of mind have helped

New cancer vaccine trial helped kill breast cancer cells in Mayo patient (October 10, 2019 news item)
[Fellow travelers, this sounds a lot like Provenge. But instead of waiting over a weekend for the white blood cells to be returned from a lab in Atlanta or Seal Beach, CA, this article says the "shot is made right there, on the spot." Indeed, our adv. PCa future is likely tied up in the development

Implant and reduction/lift surgery while on Ibrance
I have Mets to bones’ ER PR positive HER negative. My oncologist wants to keep me on Ibrance even though I’m having my implant exchange on the mastectomy side and a lift/ reduction on healthy breast to match. Has anyone stayed on Ibrance before, during and after surgery? I’m concerned with healing.

Has anyone had success with Keytruda and then stopped treatment?
I was first diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2016. During the first year, I had a nephrectomy, cystectomy and prostatectomy along with other treatments. After all that, the cancer had metastasized to my lung. I began chemotherapy and after a year, the tumors had diminished, but my remaining kidney
