Mirapex

I need help, any advice please. I already went to a gastro, nothing works for me. I am being constipated out of the blue for almost 2 months. I eat pretty healthy, drink lots of water and exercise. I eat fiber everyday now since then. Went to the dr and ahe gave me miralax. Did not work. i tried all

Stopped Requip and tried Mirapex and added Gabapentin. The Mirapex had some terrible side effects for me and the 1200mgs of Gabapentin did not work. Moved to Horizant and Tramadol last night and have been up all night.

Pramipexole (Mirapex, Mirapexin, Sifrol) and then had good result ?? Btw .. gabapentin & levodadopa kinda work for me but still can’t sleep :(( Also gabapentin only last a couple of hours for me :((

After a break of mirapexin for over 2 months. I had been taking 0.18mg for 4 years and started to augment. I tried lyrica but it didnt suit me. I then took tramadol and xanax to sleep, which helped but didnt stop that awful urge to move completely. I take iron, magnesium, a multi vitamin and dont take

I was on mirapex for 2 months but doctor said last week I could halt it if I was ok with my level of tremor, etc, so I’ve been off it about 10 days.

I'm on Mirapex (Pramipexole) 50 Mg. I sometimes think that it's getting worse over the years. It's this happening to anyone else? I think sitting on hard surfaces can make it worse too so I try to avoid sitting on wooden benches, chairs etc. I also wonder about shoes...

Supposed to be better than requip and mirapex I'll let you know how it works very expensive but your insurance pays quite a bit of it and you can get a coupon that takes it don't even way further

Now after being on Mirapex for over a year it has quit working. Any tips, helpful hints?Was also having insomnia prior to sleep study and it has resumed also.

I have been tapering off of mirapex for the last 4 weeks or so I am now totally off of it after being on 2-3 Mg for 8 years. Never ever in my life have I experienced such pain and loneliness and physical exhaustion. For those of you who actually survived this assembly want to give you a hug

I’ve been weaning off of Mirapex for 2 1/2 weeks now, down to breaking a .125 in half (using half) and using 150 mg of Lyrica along with oxycodone and an iron pill before bed. Last night I assumed I could finally stop taking any Mirapex (since 1/2 a pill seemed so small).

What I mean is has anyone successfully got off mirapex and noticed their rls got way better after being mirapex free for a few months or years? Is something like that even a possibility? Thank you.

Taking the Mirapex and waiting to see a sleep specialist. I am on a low dose 0.125 2 -3 times daily. ( I may have posted incorrect dose in previous post) I was taking just 0.125 as needed at bedtime, was working somewhat.... until daytime RLS kicked in so severe I was ready to lose my mind.

hey .my neurologist add to me a drug called Achtenon .im using sinemet and mirapex so did any one try it ,any benefits,side effect ?

I am currently getting off Mirapex, was taking 3 pills of .125mg at night. I have augmented with all the other RLS meds and also this Mirapex, and now referred to a neurologist. He put me on Lyrica, I’ve stopped Mirapex and take 150 of Lyrica right before bed instead.

My point is only by reading posts from all of you have I learned so much, Everything else points at the Mirapex for adding to my issues.

I was then prescribed Mirapex in 2001 at the lowest dose of I believe .5mg. During the 12 years I was taking Mirapex, my dosage was increased until it reached 2.5mg daily. I developed a gambling problem because of the Mirapex, and almost lost my house and marriage.

I have recently taken Mirapex which does help %50 of the time at bedtime. I have found I am having a twitch or a involuntary jerking in my legs which I have NEVER had before. I spoke with the DOC his reaction was to take the Mirapex during the day also, as that is when I am having the twitch.
