I have had RLS / PLM for years, on and off meds. I don't like the side effects, and I have not found %100 relief ever. I have recently taken Mirapex which does help %50 of the time at bedtime. I have found I am having a twitch or a involuntary jerking in my legs which I have NEVER had before.
I spoke with the DOC his reaction was to take the Mirapex during the day also, as that is when I am having the twitch.
Does this make sense? Seems to be a side effect of the med, SO take more?

Hello RLSdaily, I have been taking Sifrol, (same as Mirapex), for over 8 years now and have had a 100% success rate. Yes, the side effects are hideous, and until very recent times, I found these side effects to be somewhat controllable. However, for me, it would appear that the desired effect is no longer forthcoming as I feel I'm heading into augmentation. But for those 8 years, it was sheer bliss, (nothing short of heaven actually), to be totally without absolutely no restless legs whatsoever.
