Microvascular angina and exercise
Hi everyone I was diagnosed with
Microvascular
angina
earlier this year and my weight is slowly creeping up. I’ve collapsed when out walking on three occasions so I’m leading a very sedentary life in the fear of triggering an attack.

I guess it's
microvascular
angina
or similar. Should I push for a proper diagnosis or just take ranolazine. Which the cardiologist suggested . Because My BP is lowish normal antianginals aren't suitable because they lower my BP too much. Any suggestions gratefully appreciated

ANGINA
At the time in hospital a doctor said he thought I had
angina
and
microvascular
angina
but didn't write it down. I sent for my notes but it just described the stents going in. I have quite a high pain threshold but I am getting worn down with this. My husband is fairly frantic.

Can APS be contrubutury to angina?
Hi. So I know that antiphosphipid syndrome can cause miscarriage, and stroke. But can it be the cause of angina?

Second opinion procedure?
I mentioned
microvascular
angina
as a possible cause but she ignored that. A couple of weeks later I had a phone call from "the pharmacist" at my GP surgery. I didn't know they had one and they certainly don't dispense medication there.

Microvascular angina and weather triggers
Diagnosed
Microvascular
angina
a few months ago. Does anyone with the same diagnosis find that humid/thundery weather affects them. Whilst not in chest pain I’m finding that I become breathless.

First post!
I have been hospitalised four times this year and consequently been diagnosed with diastolic dysfunction, atrial fibrillation and lastly
microvascular
angina
after a two week stay. I now take a myriad of tablets for these conditions and my hypertension.

Angiogram clear, what next? Microvascular?
Now although I have read about
microvascular
angina
beforehand, at the time it just didn't cross my mind but reading about it since I don't think my symptoms point to it being that, but I'm not sure.

Exercise with angina.
I have
microvascular
angina
, so it's constant. Even though it's been a few years on this journey, 2011, first HA, a few stents, so no major problems as so many have. Whenever I do exercise, I seem to overdo it and get told off by gp. GTN does relieve it.

Why am I made to feel I’m making my angina up?
Previously I’ve been told I ‘probably’ have
microvascular
angina
and prinzmetal angina but never had a confirmed diagnosis so was trying to get a little clarification.

Asthma
I've had cabg heart op after heart attack back 21 years ago. Always since then I've had pain in left side of chest under ribs at bottom. I blamed it on the heart op. I've recently had lung function tests at hospital and apparently I have chronic childhood asthma! Is that causing all the pain and tight

Microvascular Angina
Back in 2018 I was diagnosed with
Microvascular
Angina
through MRI Cardiac Perfusion scan. I have breathlessness on exertion on a daily basis, but not quite sure if this is solely related to cardiac issues, as I'm also under investigation for lung problems.

Tested for PAD
I was told that leg pulses were good and 98% sure it was not PAD although advised to have a scan due to
Microvascular
angina
and Vasospastic angina. Is there any point having the scan? Can leg pain be due to menopause?

CT scan results
I was diagnosed with Asthma in 2011 (no family history or asthma attacks) and
Microvascular
Angina
in 2018. I have been prescribed various corticosteroid inhalers, which do not seem to help much - most recent one being Fostair Nexthaler.
