Oh My God 😯 Three dazed and confused Cardiologists.
Some not so junior heart specialists just admitted they don't know what to do with me. An angiogram showed a narrowing of the Lateral Anterior Descending coronary artery that's near two smaller branches. I've unsucessfully tried three vasodialating medications but can't tolerate them due to constant

Worrying Kardia ECGs.
I'm under investigation for angina and have an appointment on May 4th at the local Rapid Chest Pain Clinic (not very rapid as I've been waiting for many months). Today I experienced chest pain again on a short (15 min) walk and took a couple of Kardia 6L ECGs on my return. The first (above) seems to

Heart muscle thickness.
I had to go to A and E today because of chest pains this morning. They said that the thickness of the heart muscle was slightly above the upper limit of 14 at 16 (I don't know what the unit is). When I asked what this meant, they said it could be angina "in view of your other symptoms", or it could

Angina questions
In May I have an appointment at the chest pain clinic to determine whether I have angina or something like costachondritis. The GP thinks it's probably not angina, but says she cannot be sure and wants to send me there "because of your heart history and AF." About 30 minutes ago I went for a walk. As

I am apparently the only patient that has

and I just wish I could be ordinary. Is there anybody else in my position?

palpitations
Hi, I wonder if you can help. My mother had angina and had a stent about a year ago. She continued to have palpitations and all the cardiologists said that she didn't have AF and that her heart was now fine. She continued to suffer palpitations and occasional angina and used her gtn spray when it got

Microvascular Angina Confirmed
A&E had suggested
Microvascular
Dysfunction/
Angina
May 2021 after picking up the issue on ECG. It’s been quite some journey to get a solid diagnosis. I first went to the GP in August 2020 after chest pains that started around Feb/March 2020, had, over a period of time, become an obvious problem .

Angina versus Costochondritis
I have noticed that when walking or cycling, after about 15 minutes or so, I get a pain on the left side of the chest. Typically this stops when I get home. It feels like an ice cube is pressed against the chest, a sort of freezing sensation. The pain doesn't spread anywhere else and I don't feel out

Advice required from Milkfairy and others.
I was seen in clinic by a very knowledgeable young woman Cardiologist and we discussed the fact that I might
microvascular
angina
. I’m going to one of the large teaching hospitals for the angiogram and wondered what questions should I ask-if I get the opportunity to ask.

EECP Therapy - Microvascular Angina - Does it Work?
The usual tests have come back clear and my Doctors classify it as probably
Microvascular
Angina
/Cardiac SyndromeX. On that basis I have reaseached possible treatemenst. Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP) Therapy seems to be non-invasive and relatively cost-efficient.

Microvascular angina.
Could this please be clarified,if possible,,,are there tests for
microvascular
angina
,if so.which is the best. Im told different opinions on this,by different doctors. Also told they dont do testing for coronary artery spasm anymore, due to the risk involved.

Uniphyllin - and microvascular angina/dysfunction
Cardiologist put me on this because I am not responding to the 'many' drugs I take for suspected
microvascular
angina
and this is the last drug he can suggest to help alleviate my chest pain. My heart feels like I am running a race and I'm quite jittery.

microvascular angina and high cholesterol
Hi all So today I've been told I have to take statins as my cholesterol is high. Just another tablet to add to the heap. I have been compaining about complete exhaustion for a long time. It's getting worse rather than better. Is there any connection with this and high cholesterol? My diagnosis is Micro-vascular

Recent Microvascular Angina diagnosis
I was recently diagnosed with SVT and then
Microvascular
Angina
. My cardiologist doesn't seem very concerned and my appointments are getting further and further a part. To be honest I'm scared. I can't sleep or enjoy life.

A bit disconcerting!
I was not in the area for the hospital where I was diagnosed with
Microvascular
Angina
in May. I asked the nurses and doctor if they knew about
microvascular
angina
and none of them did. I had a blood test but they didn’t test for tropanin.
