Finally Got a Diagnosis
Diagnosis -
microvascular
angina
causing spasms. Why is the diagnosis important. Because I had be signed back to the GP by Cardiology after my Coronary Angiogram was clear in February, with suggestion of a follow up with the gastric team. I was taken off everything but nitrates.

Heart Scan
My cardioligist suspects my
angina
is
microvascular
but, cannot say for sure. Could that be the reason I am now having this Rubidium heart scan.

How is microvascular angina diagnosed ?
I've heard there is a trial going on where they insert a fine wire to detect different readings but it's experimental and only available in a few places. So how do the rest of us get diagnosed with it ? I've read that in women especially it's very much undiagnosed and was actually told the other day

Ongoing symptoms - systemic condition?
I have had various tests over the years, only abnormalities are slightly raised ESR levels, plus a diagnosis of
Microvascular
Angina
and mild small airways disease (possibly reflux related). I do have some problems around menstruation (periods longer duration), but only since 2019.

Microvascular angina fatigue
I have been prescribed isosorbide mononitrate to treat
microvascular
angina
symptoms. Will it help to relieve the fatigue that I seem to experience constantly and which I have attributed to the MVA?

Do I have coronary artery spasm/ variant angina?
For the past 4 months I have had intense chest pain most mornings when I awake, feeling like a crushing ache which spreads down my left arm and shoulder. It lasts up to 30 mins unless I use a triglyceral nitrate spray. I have had numerous ECGs, stress tests, heart MRI scans and CT scans of the arteries

BP drugs
I'm prescribed Candesartan and Diltiazem for my Angina. Is it safe to take them both as my BP has dropped quite a bit.

Advice please on Blue Horizon results.
I also have another heart condition,
Microvascular
Angina
. I had to go to A & E last Oct with the Atrial Fibrillation. Unbeknown to me they tested TSH which was "abnormal" and in April the hospital wrote to my GP asking to test it again.

Newly diagnosed with variant/vasospastic angina (coronary artery spasm) and worried about the future
Hi. Im 46 and had a cardiac arrest at home on 25 Jan 2021 - was in hospital for over 3 weeks but thankfully, I have recovered fully now. About 10 days after that event and after lots of tests, the consultants eventually diagnosed variant/vasospastic angina (coronary artery spasm), having seen it on ECG

Chest pain made my life a nightmare
After insisting, i found DC who was able to understand me, she said that it might be a prinzmetal or a
microvascular
angina
, so i am taking Norvasc 5mg, nitrate twice, Atorvastatine, meteoprolol, plavix, Trimetazidine twice, and nitrate spray for attacks).

Or coronary artery spasm ,/
microvascular
angina
. My tests scheduled to diagnose me have been cancelled, possibly for many more months. Hence my concern about an undiagnosed condition being used in my cardios decision. Im in the Uk. Would appreciate anyones experience with this greatly.
