Worrying Kardia ECGs.

I'm under investigation for angina and have an appointment on May 4th at the local Rapid Chest Pain Clinic (not very rapid as I've been waiting for many months). Today I experienced chest pain again on a short (15 min) walk and took a couple of Kardia 6L ECGs on my return. The first (above) seems to show ST segment elevation and was taken on my immediate return when the pain was still present. The second was about 40 mins later when the pain had subsided- it doesn't seem to show as much ST segment elevation. *so far as I know* (I have only the most basic knowledge of how to read them). Obviously, I'm not asking anyone to diagnose anything, but I wondered if anyone who can read ECGs could comment. I've sent the ECGs to my GP and hope to hear something tomorrow from them. I'm very concerned that the GP seems very relaxed about repeated reports of chest pain.

Is this not a ST Depression or NSTEMI? You must get it checked ASAP. Could be caused by high or low BP or angina. Partial artery blockage also could be the cause as could old heart muscle injury.

BBB can also show as ST Depression.

You would probably be put on Aspirin, Statin and a Beta Blocka.

This is not a medical diagnosis as I am not trained in ECG's.

Thanks, I spoke to a GP who looked at the ECG and advised going to hospital insisting on calling an ambulance (the last thing I want to do). Wait will be at least 90 minutes. Happy days!

Thanks for your reply. I've also been advised by a GP to go to hospital on the basis of this ECG.

Hope you have made out well

Thanks for replying. They took two ECGs and said that these showed nothing untoward. I must wait untilMay 5th for a fuller investigation at the Rapid Chest Pain Clinic. They also said the pain could be something other than either costochondritis or angina.

So how is it going?

Thanks for replying. Two ECGs showed "nothing untoward" but they said this doesn't rule out angina since unless I had it at the time, it probably wouldn't show on an ECG. I will have to do a stress test, echo and other tests at the RCPC on May 5th.
