Thyroid/Angina connection?
Hi does anyone know if there's a connection between angina and Autoimmune Hypothyroidism or is my high blood pressure simply the cause. I also have pernicious anaemia and a million allergies. Also I've read here that ferritin should be in the 70s but mine is 17ug 1L . This is just within the NHS range

Waiting for angiogram after couple of episodes of ambulance to A&E. Could be Angina they say, but very bad reaction to medication so now on betablockers and spray under tongue if required. Doctor says to keep calm but when chest pain is with me late at night it is scary but am doing my best to stay

My husband has been taking statins for 22 years after a double heart bypass op. This year his "new" arteries were found to be clogged up (so
(so much for statins reducing cholesterol) and a stent was fitted after angina. We decided to go on Dr Dean Ornish's diet since last July (vegan diet really) and all is going well? However, we live in rural France and our french doctor and heart specialist have not heard of dietary control of cholesterol

Does anyone suffer with PAF and angina?
I have had PAF for about 10 years, only one or two episodes a year but a lot of ectopic beats. Recently when doing moderate exercise I get a dull pain in the left side of my chest which goes after about an hour of resting but leaves me very tired and wobbly. What should I do? Cheers! Don

Can anyone help with whether or not I have hypothyroidism?
I have many severe symptoms of hypothyroidism (weight gain, fatigue, depression, feel cold, high cholesterol, constipation), and also suffer from severe
microvascular
angina
. Questions: 1. My GP said the latest results mean I do not need treatment. But I feel dreadful. Is she correct? 2.

can you suffer from angina for a number of years without it being detected.
are these angina symptoms?chest, back, shoulder, neck pain accompanied by sweating and a closing sensation in the throat.symptoms hit hard for a few minutes then reduce to a lingering ache for a few hours.

I have 97 SAT, Pulse 75, BP 78/140 and I have diagnosed as a Stable Angina patient
I get a sharp pain in the centre of the chest, on the sternum and sometime it radiates to the left arm. I take half a tab of Sorbitrate 5 mg, place it under the tongue and after a few minutes it disappears. The pain appears particularly after meals, or when I walk or in the night if I go to the toilet

16 days in hospital still wondering what is wrong.
I went for my exercise test which was stopped after 2 minutes as my BP had dropped to 88. Chest tightness and arm pain began which did not lessen with the use of a GTN spray. So I was admitted to Coronary care and subsequently to a cardiology ward where I stayed for 16 days for monitoring and investigation
