I have been self treating a B12 deficiency for over a year now using
methylcobalamin
tablets and spray sub lingually. I have also been taking Lamberts methyl B complex containing 200 ug of folate as methylfolate (one tablet daily).

Waiting for results from a test
(It's
methylcobalamin
). I can also sit in a car most of the time without a cushion behind me. I have had an MRI, but don't know the results yet. I have issues with my heart, but walking should help plus magnesium and lemon juice or Happy Water which all have your electrolytes.

One day On, another day off while on B12 injections
Since 1st july, I had 4
methylcobalamin
injections every other day and then 1 weekly. This helped me with fatigue but headache is still around, it comes everyday with something new- someday worse with head pressure, other day without.

My Experience
I am confirmed as B12 deficient and now take daily
Methylcobalamin
(2 per day, has been at 6 per day) and have injections every two months. I have to take daily supplements as I suffer from visual disturbance.

Measuring B12 levels
When I was initially diagnosed with the condition my B12 level wasn't ridiculously low, I think it was around 450 with a range of around 180-900, but as I had some numbness in my fingers I started supplementing with high strength sublingual
methylcobalamin
just in case.

B12 blood tests after supplementing?
About 18 months ago after developing neurological symptoms and other symptoms (such as breathlessness) and being told that my serum B12 level was "in range" (224) by my GP, I started to supplement using daily 5000mcg
Methylcobalamin
tablets and later with a spray also, along with a good B complex with

How many of you had the Epstein-Barr Virus (aka Glandular Fever) or a viral episode before diagnosis. Check out this interesting article!

Methylcobalamin injections - loading doses - dizziness and headaches - should i stop or switch to Hydroxo?
I have had a week of
Methylcobalamin
injections but seem to be getting headaches (I never get heartaches in life generally!) and I am very 'spaced out' and quite dizzy. Now, as it happens, I was dizzy before starting the injections but this seems to be worse.

Methylcobalamin ampoules
I phoned Arnika in Munich about supplying ampoules of
Methylcobalamin
, for which they have given the agency to Intravita . They will continue to supply it to customers who have ordered it with them ,before they gave the agency to Intravita . This info might be useful to someone .

What do you do for Body neuropathy
My question is how much and how long do you need to be on B12 (
methylcobalamin
) sublinguals, and now a transdermal patch will it take to heal the neuropathy? I have problems with absorption. I also have left sided weakness and went for an MRI of my neck, and my mouth has diminished sensation.

Borderline B12 Deficiency with neurological problems
After reading all the posts here about getting daily or every other day loading injections, I was afraid that they just weren't enough so I bought some sublingual
methylcobalamin
as well as a folate supplement for him.

How much folate for how long?
It soon turned out to be wrong - or maybe the sublingual drops I had purchased didn't work properly, or it was because I only took
methylcobalamin
and no adenosylcobalamin for the next couple of month. My symptoms came back.

So sorry! Another supplement enquiry. B vitamins, excluding b12?
I received my sublingual b12 vitamins today (1000 mcg
Methylcobalamin
, taking 2 to begin with as level is 372 ng/L [> 180]) but I wonder whether I should still be supplementing with other b vits as well, including folic acid (my folate is 16 ng/ml [4.6 - 34.8)?

Functional B12 deficiency/NutrEval results
Hello, I am new here. Can anyone pls help me? I seem to have a functional B12 deficiency despite normal (now ) or super elevated (previously) serum B12. When I used to take methyl B12 1,000 mg sublingually daily, my serum B12 was off the chart high! I was advised to stop taking the B12, despite being

Vitamin B6/Pyridoxine
For the last few weeks I've been supplementing B vitamins, namely B Complex,
methylcobalamin
and pyridoxine. My concern is that my pyridoxine intake is reaching very high levels (currently over 4,000 mg/day).

Hypothyroid with low vitamins B12 and D
I began these straight away (
Methylcobalamin
) but within a week my leg/foot pain returned. I therefore began taking 1000mcg daily sub-lingually but my symptoms have not improved.
