Sourcing my own B12 injections
I have been trying 1 per day
Methylcobalamin
1,300ug capsules and I think I’m feeling some benefit but it’s on and off. I (Like most of us under-active, Hashimoto’s sufferers) have had no actual help from the NHS what so ever to help with how our reseated actually makes us feel every day ….

different b12 form
I felt like before I switched to hydroxy (2.5 weeks ago) I was feeling a little relief after a few weeks of
methylcobalamin
. The out of it feeling and brain fog and dizzy was gone but now back. Is this a sign I like
methylcobalamin
better.

Methylcobalamin in dry form from Oxford Biosciences
Again on the Oxford Bio info sheet it states that you get 2mg of
methylcobalamin
for 0.5mL of solution. As I would prefer to take around I mg is it simply a case of halving the amount of solution? sounds like an obvious sort of question but I just want to make sure I am doing this right.

Changing from methyl to hydroxo worries
Hi everyone. I'm about to switch from methyl b12 ampules to Dr myhill's hydroxo, and I'm worried about side effects. I've only been SI for under a year and I've never had a break, so I don't know how I'll react. I've never injected hydroxo. I've been SI 0.5ml of the methyl EOD, which equates to 375mcg

Clueless and looking for advice!
Have been taking 2000ug of b12 in the form of
methylcobalamin
which I’ve been told is perhaps not the best supplement to take. Reluctant to take anything right now too in case the GP wants to repeat any bloods. Any advice or information much appreciated.

B12 tablets better than injection!
I started taking 1000ug
Methylcobalamin
standard tablets each day and within a few weeks I started feeling better than previously and my concentration definitely improved.

Hashimotos Now What?
Hi, I posted my bloods and symptoms a while back and said I was going to get my Thyroid bloods done privately. Well I finally did and the results are attached. My GP is unconcerned and my TSH has elevated from my previous blood test in May from 1.99 to 2.71, however my TPO has reduced a bit from

Curious why GPs are so reticent to support B12 symptoms
I take oral spray
methylcobalamin
(Better You 1,200μg) every day. Some of my symptoms calmed down a little (fatigue and ataxia), but the rest remain and are now starting to get worse again. So, I returned to the doctor in January and asked 'what next'?

Hi there , could anyone tell me where to buy methylcobalamine or hydroxocobalamine for self injection. Thank you
I was diagnosed with PA 11 years ago and started to SI just a year ago. My GP will only give me a prescription for 6 vials of hyhydroxocobalamine a year. Could anyone advice me where I can purchase more . Thanks

Postherpetic Neuralgia and B12
(I currently have PHN and am taking
methylcobalamin
every day. Alongside capsaicin cream. Difficult to know if it is helping, but I think it is.) [i]
