To get a better picture here were my previous results. 457 (156 - 698) June 2014 166 (153 - 655) August 2016 After self-supplementation of
methylcobalamin
> 1476 (153 - 655) December 2016 I'm wondering if I should stop supplementation or simply reduce the amount. Thanks.

Advanced dementia & B12 deficiency
I started daily sublingual
methylcobalamin
5-45mg (yes, milligrams, although I don't do more than 10mg/day now). Within the first 15 minutes of my first dose, I felt tingling throughout my body. My energy is HUGELY returning and I'm minding my folate & potassium.

Eyes burning on sublingual methyl b12?
Over the last few days I've definitely felt a bit worse. I've had a few of my earlier symptoms return where I've been more fatigued, anxious and noise bothers me. A new thing however is my eyes feel like they're burning a bit (I've had fizzing feelings before but not burning). My skin mainly on my legs

Need Info/Support for U.S. Appeal
Medicare system (for older citizens) cover the costs of
methylcobalamin
for self-injections. I was blessed with a diagnosing physician who put me on 2 x week injections for life, but it was for transcobalamin.

Advice on blood tests pls
Hi there I've just had Hashis confirmed after 10 yrs hypo and 100 mg Levo. Can anyone advise/comment on Optimum vitamin and iron levels? B12 1061 (I supp with methyl b12, ok I think) Folate 8.2 (supp with active, I'm told this should be nearer 15-18 for hypo) Ferritin 13 - right at low end of range,

How to mix a pure methylcobalamin powder.
Wanting to buy a pure
methylcobalamin
powder, but not sure of the process of how to mix it and use it, or where to source needles for a reasonable price. New to this and just starting out.

Is oral/sublingual Methyl b12 good enough on its own or do I need to add adeno or even take hydroxy with it?
I've read somewhere that the body can convert methyl b12 back into adeno b12 if it needs it (if that's in fact true) but wonder if only taking methly b12 might explain why my fatigue is still bad while I feel better psychologically. I'm reading that adeno helps with energy whereas methyl works on repair

Could Multi vitamins containing folic acid be the cause of increased neurological problems?
Hi I've had fatigue for a long time now and recently found out that I had low serum b12 back in 2012 that wasn't treat. (I also had a low serum level in October this year and no b12 tests between these dates) In May I purchased a multi vitamin spray that only had 6ug of b12 in it but 400ug of folic acid

Serum v active b12 confusion
Hi, I'm finding it difficult to see what low serum but "Normal" active b12 really means. I'm due back at the doctors to state my case for treatment but read on certain sites that an active b12 above 50 requires no treatment. Why would serum be low (153pg/ml) but active be normal (67.8pmol/l). My symptoms

Bladder irritation
Has anyone found methyl B12 to irritate the bladder? If so, what measures have you taken to alleviate this. Is adenosyl any better?

B12 test results - advice please!
Should I now, just start supplementing with some
methylcobalamin
lozenges or would there be any benefit in getting an active B12 test? I don't really want to wait another 3 months to test for a baseline result. Would welcome people's views on the best next steps.

B12 Deficiency or Hypothyroidism?
My TSH is at 6.7 and B12 was at 180 hence I have been supplementing with
methylcobalamin
for the past 8 months with my current b12 level at 1000+. My question to the experts here is whether a 6.7 level TSH cause brain fog/cognitive issues without any other visible symptoms for hypothyroidism?

Obtain methyl b12 injection in the U.K.
How would a uk resident get hold of a safe source of methyl b12 to self inject? I'm worried that I'm about to get irreversible nerve damage due to British doctors refusal to accept a problem exists or to offer treatment.

Oxford Vitality?
They offer cyanocobalamin and
methylcobalamin
. I have been shopping around as Solgar 5mg (for 120) has gone up by £6 since I last bought them before the summer.

Need some expert advice :(
Does
methylcobalamin
actually require folate to alleviate the symptoms? Sorry but my GP in india urged me to stop supplementing with folic acid and hence the question. What happens if I start on Jarrows methylfolate again? Will it actually do more harm than good?
