I was prescribed
mefenamic
acid
in Feb but it honestly doesn't do much considering my pain is daily and I'm very cautious about taking too many painkillers. I am currently waiting to speak to my GP again but my appointment isn't for another 3 weeks.

Pred-induced Osteoporosis - Zoledronic acid??
Hi Everyone I was asked to report back after I'd seen my consultant this week, re the ankle fracture I incurred without a fall or trip - you rightly deduced that she said I must have a Dexascan. (I await date and time for that). However, she also said that the weekly Alendronic acid I've been taking

Ursodiol and thirst?
I’m almost 60 days into taking Ursodiol and I noticed over the last week in particular that I’m overly thirsty. Has this happened to anyone else? I left a message for my dr about it tonight.

Which pregnancy supplements?
Hi, Does any of you ladies know which pregnancy supplements are best to take after BFP? (IVF)Some contain DHA and Omega 3 and some don’t? Some sites say to take omega 3 from 12 weeks? Is it safe to take at 4 weeks? Any help and advice appreciated. Thank you

Alendronic Acid
I’ve only taken two tablets up til now, but I’ve read about having a dental check up before taking them. I do have dental issues so should I stop taking AA until I have my dental check up. Im also on Prednisolone for 5 days due to some breathing issues but I’m actually thinking maybe it’s the AA not

Zometa
I'm having oral surgery next Thursday on a bone in my jaw do to advanced cancer. Anthem refused to pay for it, saying it is a dental thing. Some cancer patients whose cancer has spread to the bones receive regular infusions of a bone-modifying drug, such as zoledronic acid (Zometa) May have side affects

Alendronic acid or not?
Fifteen months ago when I started Pred, my GP insisted I took Alendronic acid to avoid osteoporosis. I asked for a Dexa scan first, which he refused, so I did not take Alend. acid . Today he has again put pressure on me to accept this medication. When I mentioned Dexa scan again he agreed this time

Help for a friend with corticobasal degeneration.
Dear forum friends: I have a friend who has been diagnosed with corticobasal degeneration. I can't find much specific information about this atypical parkinsonism. Except for Dr. Costantini's reference in the famous interview (number 30) or the comments on medical cannabis oil, I can't find any information

Man Who Recovered Using Meditation was on Terazosin?
Corrected (thanks park_bear), this guy was meditating, not using QiGong. So no sooner than I post about Meditation Guy (again), I'm re-reading the article (was surprised he was in Massachusetts) and see he was diagnosed with PD in 2000 and was on all the medications and and was recovered by 2013. Severe Period Pain but no diagnosis
Hi, I haven’t yet been diagnosed with anything - endometriosis etc… but I joined this forum to see if it’s worth pushing for it to be investigated? I’m only 18 but I have had several trouble with my period since I was 9, to the point where I am curled up on the floor in agony, or where I’m shaking badly

Tranexamic acid - any advice?
In short, I have endo & adeno and am currently treatment free whilst waiting for a hysterectomy (I'm 45). My periods are pretty heavy and painful and a doctor has suggested trying Tranexamic acid for a few months. I just wondered if anyone else has tried this in a similar situation and did it work? Thanks
