Shortest Time Between Steroid Sets?
What is the shortest amount of time you've had between needing sets of steroids? Background: I only started showing symptoms in March 2019, and I've been lucky that they are still pretty mild (mostly just occasional tingling and altered sensation, with some swallowing difficulty and increased constipation

Confused and angry... and scared...
One doctor wants to save me from the perils of too much 'dangerous toxic
Medrol
' and the other wants to save my sight. I'm pissed off, can I say that? I did. I'm emotional because once before I was having issues and went to bed and woke up blind in one eye.

Feeling terrible and need advice on dose to go back up to
After some issues I will share later, ended up on
Medrol
in June 2018, which has been working well for me. I started at 17 mg/day (same as 20 mg of pred) I have been using the DSNS method very successfully since then to lower my dose slowly to 3/4 mg per day (!) of
Medrol
! I was so excited.

Not a question, more a sharing
Went to the Royal Free, Hampstead for scheduled appointment for PMR yesterday. I'm now nearly a year in from the initial diagnosis. Head of this department I originally saw privately. He gave me an injection of Depo-Medrone 120mg to see if my symptoms went away as a diagnostic tool. They did. Couldn't

Depo Medrone 120mg IM and Mood
Hi All I had an injection of Depo Medrone almost 4 weeks ago and initially felt great but this week I’ve noticed my mood it all over the place! I’m anxious, sad, tearful, panicy, obsessive about little things. I haven’t felt this way prior to the treatment and I haven’t had any significant changes in

IM steroid injection - when will it start working?
I recently got the IM depo medrone steroid injection into my left thigh to help with inflammation and pain for my possible RA. I would love to hear other people's experiences of it and the effects. It's been six days since I've had the injection, I've definitely noticed less stiffness and a bit less

I have a question, GCA type😎🤔😏
....and a little bit of 😔 I'm on 6 mg of
Medrol
per day, I was still having some intermittent jaw and temple discomfort so my rheumatologist sent me for bloodwork. My CRP and sed rate were not just good, they were awesome, frustratingly awesome.

Intra-muscular depo-madrone injection
I have had an intramuscular 120mg depo-
medrol
injection to treat newly diagnosed rheumatoid arthritis affecting my hands and wrists as a “test” before starting DMARDS. Can anyone shed any light on what as a “test” means, how long it takes to work and how long any relief may last?

Neurostimulator device for overactive bladder
My daughter was diagnosed with overactive bladder. It's an issue she's been struggling with for several years. She's tried several medications, including Detrol, but has not had much luck. Her urologist has suggested surgery for something called a neurostimulating device that's implanted in her lower

Methotrexate, steroids, COVID-19
Hi all, I'm UCTD, and for about five years, I've been a full dose (2 x daily) of hydroxychloroquine. I've been having a flair more or less since lock-down started. Normally when this happens, I get a Depo-Medrone injection (methylprednisolonen), which settles me down anywhere from a few months to a couple

Curly hair?
Right now, my memory is not my strong suit~~~but I think I have been on Actemra injections weekly for about three months for GCA, along with
Medrol
. My hair has gotten a bit thinner, not too bad, but quite curly, ringlets. I was just curious if anyone else had experienced this?

My memory is on vacation~~
Do you folks with longer-term experience think this is part of the gift of
Medrol
or Prednisone? Maybe a combination of both? It isn't selective memory, all of a sudden it will dawn on me that I have 'great plans for tomorrow.'

Anyone having injections of Depo-Medrone instead of taking prednisolone orally to manage symptoms of PMR?
Anyone having injections of depo-Medrone instead of taking prednisolone by mouth for PMR symptoms? If so, do you prefer this method? How does it work?

Swollen foot
Hi, I am on Humira and off the
medrol
(methlyprednisone) and the Humira is working, Yea! But now I have a swollen foot, only one because I am an amputee. Don't know why it is swollen. After effect from prednisone or Humira or just RA in general?

Ocrevus-where are you??
I did three doses of 1000 mg of Solu-
Medrol
a couple weeks ago. Since then, I developed an infection in my abdomen. My new date for O is scheduled for next Thursday. I’m not sure Ocrevus is for me. I felt good on it in the beginning. I’m wondering How I will be feeling the end of June??
