I can’t go on
Hello. I am a 49 year old woman. I have suffered with Restless leg then home for over eight years. Up until two years ago it was tolerable. If I missed a night or two of sleep I could still function because it didn’t happen every night And I could catch up on my sleep here and there. At this point

Meeting with Radiation Oncologist to discuss treatments after persistent cancer after Radical Prostatectomy (RP) with PSA of 0.8 - Gleason 7
I had my meeting with my Radiation Oncologist (RO) to discuss my treatment plan now since I had the recurrence cancer after surgery with PSA 0.8. He had me meet him in his examining room, instead of his office so he could sit next to me and my wife. I thought that was unusual because I even asked if

Spinal pain
My spine hurts so bad and I woke up 2 days ago with severe pain. Last time I had a flare up with my spine I was bed ridden and couldn’t move my legs my husband had to lift my legs for me. The pain was so bad I cried so hard I wouldn’t wish that on anyone as it’s such torture. I see my docs in a few days

I'll keep this first post simple. Had an MRI, discovered tumors. Biopsy showed majority of samples Gleasons 8 or 9 throughout prostate, including some small incursion into left seminal vesicle. First recommendation (I will have second opinion in 2 weeks) radical prostatectomy, including both nerve bundles

After surgery and now PSA 0.8 - what's next?
I am 61 years old, married for 2nd time for 21 years to a special woman who gave me 2 wonderful kids, now 17 & 19, and an adopted son from my first marriage who is now 33 and living with his girlfriend. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April 2018. I had been seeing my PSA numbers slowing rising

Incontinence Frustration
I'd like feedback from the group on incontinence and how they are dealing with it. It seems like I'm going through pads way too quickly and just moving causes leaks. I'm doing my Kegel exercises but I'm wondering does it get better, does it just take time? I'm only one week out from my surgery (Friday

Gleason Score 10.
New study below [1]. A GS=10 is rare, but that's no consolation to the men who receive the diagnosis. However, a new study reports that: "Aggressive therapy with curative intent is warranted, as >50% of patients remain free of systemic disease 5 years after treatment." "The propensity score-adjusted

Mastectomy scheduled
After the waiting period following scans and more biopsies I’m having a radical mastectomy on Monday . The consultant said the scan showed no spinal involvement but there are two separate types of tumour in the rt breast . As I’m a 38DD it will be very noticeable I guess , but that’s the least of the

Intro
Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself as I am new here. I live in the US and have suffered from RLS most of my life. I have been taking ropinirole for many years and am now at 4mg. I live in a state where medical marijuana is legal so I am trying that now with mixed results. It definitely helps

Legalisation of Medical Marijuana in the UK
I’m sure we all heard the news yesterday that medical marijuana will be legalised here in the UK from Autumn 2018 in exceptional circumstances. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/health-44968386 I don’t know which cases will be regarded as falling within the “ exceptional medical need

Chronic pain
Not sure if I asked this but chronic pain is in primary more than other types? What helps? Trying to try medical marijuana.

It’s 4 weeks after radical hysterectomy, BSO, omentectomy & debulking surgery. Why have I got terrible rectal pain?
I’m new here so just wanting to pick up any advice about how to cope with the terrible pain I’m having in my rectal area. The surgeon removed 2 small ovarian tumour implants from my colon but said she couldn’t see any more. Would the pain in my lower bowel be because there are smaller implants starting
