Opioids
Good morning one & all I am, as you know, now on 2,100 gabapentin taken in divided doses in the evenings to no avail. Today I spoke to my GP and to my amazement he is happy to start me on low dose oxycodone (to take at night). Thank you so much Sue & Jools for suggesting I sent him all the articles

Augmentation
I have been taking 0.26mg of Pramapexole plus 100mg Tramadol for around 8 years. This is my second bout of Pramapexole, first time around after a good few years I augmented, had a break then started again. It really has been a good drug for me but of course I am paying the price again. My question is

Mild Sjogrens? Is that a thing?
I've googled it and I still have no idea. Lots of cross over symptoms with thyroid but I've started pondering on my dry eyes and mouth. Neither are dry to the point of pain but my husband has noticed I've developed an eye 'tic'. I'm sort of rolling my eyes and opening my eyes wide; I've realised

My experience with Ropinirole
Hi All I wanted to let people know of my experience with RLS, what I thought was augmentation, changing medications and seeing a Consultant. So it all started when the 0.5mg Ropinirole I was on did not have the same effect. Doing my own research I considered that augmentation was happening. When

Using Lactulose long term
Does anyone know if it is safe to use Lactulose long term? I have IBS-C and have tried all the other remedies such as kiwis, psyllium, prunes ,linseeds, chia seeds and I drink plenty of water but find they either don’t work or give me terrible griping pains. Although I’d prefer to take a natural product

Pain control with PLMD
I take 100 mg Lyrica for PLMD, the lowest possible dosage as I never have been able to shake the daytime sedation. Now I have some kind of pinched nerve that has been causing chronic pain. Tylenol is not sufficient (I am going to try a lidocaine patch today for the first time and hope that will help

Magnesium salts and RLS: malate, glycinate or citrate
Just following up on a recent post recommending magnesium malate for RLS, quoting recommendations made by Californian company Pure Biogenics in promoting their RLS supplement Seratame. Looking into this, experiments on rats suggested that malate may be the most bio-available form of magnesium; there

Trisomy 22 - POC result. Anybody been in same boat but eventually succeeded? Plz share
Hi ladies So my 4th MC POC was tested and result came back with trisomy 22. No ivf yet. My heart aches to read that it was defective. Good stories always make me feel positive and give me belief that I can carry on. Has anybody in this circle had same issue but eventually succeeded. Did you do

Anovulatory medicated FET success rates
Hello ivf warriors, I am having doubts before our FET. I am currently not ovulating (still breastfeeding my ivf double rainbow). Clinic is happy to induce ovulation by medication for the purposes of the transfer. I am having doubts whether there could be less chance of success given my body has not returned

Oxycodone not working well
I have been alternating between Tramadol and Oxycodone for awhile now. I do pretty well on the Tramadol but after a month or so,, sometimes sooner, it isn’t as effective so I switch off to oxycodone. I don’t do near as well on the oxy and am wondering if it’s a dosage issue, a timing issue, or maybe

THC and augmentation
In researching THC use and RLS, it is described as a dopamine agonist. Is there evidence it can also produce augmentation? . It works very well for me and does not produce the side effect that makes Gabapentin, Lyrica or opioids unacceptable options. However I can’t use it much because of my line of

Dad admitted to ICU with Sepsis on 31/12/22
my dad was admitted to the ICU on New Year’s Eve, he’s had pneumonia, strep a and sepsis, he’s currently got the Trachi and is on the kidney filter machine. The doctors are saying that they need to sedate him 100% now so he can get the rest he needs as everything is failing on him. They’ve talked about

Twitching running eye...
I have Hashimotos and wondered if any of you lovely people with this also have this happen to you.My left eyelid is kind of flickering and has been on and off for the last 4 weeks, it's not noticable if I look at it in the mirror but when I try sleep I can definitely feel it. Yesterday it was watering

Methadone + Pregabalin + Trazodone - So far so good
Hi everyone, just wanted to share a good story. Sorry for the telegraphic style, I'm just saving everyone's time. I'm 33, living in Canada. I guess I've had RLS my whole life, but it started affecting my sleep about 10 years ago. I'm very active (cycling everyday, rock climbing & calisthenics). No other
