Lexapro and RLS
Has anyone with RLS started taking Lexapro for anxiety? If yes, did it have any affects on your RLS? My RLS is pretty well controlled at this time with minimal drugs (100 mg Gabapentin) after finally getting off Pramipexole. I also use Melatonin, Valarian Root, and CBN. But most helpful, I think,

prebiotic collagen protein
Hi, I have searched the site re the above and most concerns relate to cost and getting collagen from diet rather than paying large sums for a packaged preparation. The main reason i want to take it is the hype regarding bloating, gut healing and digestive issues. It contains collagen peptides

Nailfold infection
I have my second nailfold infection in 2 months - it is proving difficult to resolve and a few days ago a telangectasia bled profusely for no reason. Is this connected to my Systemic Sclerosis or just a coincident. Thanks for any thoughts on this.

Hello everyone, Last May I flew to Chicago with gabapentin & low dose oxycodone in my hand luggage with prescription attached with no problems. In 2 weeks I will be flying to Phoenix, Arizona & now am on low dose buprenorphine instead of oxycodone. Has anyone had problems flying to the US carrying low

Dipyridamole working great
I started taking gabapentin 900mg at bedtime 15 yrs ago, recently switched to 600mg at 9pm and midnight. Not much benefit. Probably developed a tolerance over the years. Started tramadol 50-100mg at bedtime a month ago, some relief but was concerned about addiction with long term use. Showed the dipyridamole

Any last advice before I embark on the battle to try Buprenorphine? Should I increase my pregabalin dose?
I'd be really grateful for any thoughts on remaining treatment options before I start waging war with my GP practice to try Buprenorphine. I took my last ropinirole tablet in May 2023 (after augmentation after 11 years), and have since been taking 300mg pregabalin (150mg at 8pm, 150mg at 10.30pm), together

Sleep apnea and PMR
Over the last year my sleep has been poor, and finally I had an overnight sleep study, which revealed severe apnea. I'm pretty sure this is new to me and I did some reading. Apparently there is a nasty connection between apnea and PMR (and RA). One source: "The co-existence of sleep apnoea in rheumatic

Suboxone works!
As I stated in my first post, in May, 2023, I have had severe RLS for many years. I suffered augmentation after taking 4 mg Mirapex daily. In September, 2023, my sleep study doctor, at The University of Michigan, prescribed Suboxone. Also known as Buprenorphine and Naloxone 2 mg/0.5 mg. It is a sublingual

help: suboxone
Hello, there’s good news and bad news. The good news is that I haven’t had RLS for months. The bad news is since taking Suboxone I’ve developed the most insane muscle pain I can barely function. To get out of bed I barely have the strength to roll my body, and even lifting my leg up, causes an immense

Free of Dopamine Agonist But ...
Today, with the help of Buprenorphine, I am about 6 weeks free of Neupro. It is no exaggeration to say that I have not slept consistently this well for 30 years. It is absolutely a miracle. I could not be more thankful for the help I have received here that has gotten me to this place. However, there

Magnesium type
I had my husband on Natural Calm which is the brand I take. His mood lifted, he was less tired etc etc. The problem is it affected his toilet habits! My friend said better to spray and take it trans-dermally but she's talking about Magnesium Chloride. Is that any good to take? I've only ever taken

I been on Gabapentin from 23.02.24 and was previously on Pramipexole but had compulsive eating so asked to change. I stopped Pramipexole straight away and moved to Gabapentin and went from 300mg three times a day to 900mg three times a day and not really helped me. Spoke to Dr today who’s decided I should

Gabapentin
I've suffered with rls for over 30 years which has gradually got worse and worse. I'm now 74. After taking dopamine agonists for years, then tramadol, codeine and trying Kratom nothing was working and my doctor and neurologist would and could not prescribe anything else. In the past I had tried Pregabalin
