It has some interesting nutritional facts, suggesting that too much lycopene supplement may increase metastases. However, lycopene from whole plant based foods is useful.

He is as well on some new supplements: mushrooms, lycopene, D3, Omega3, sulforaphane, Melatonin 20mg and a few more. He had external radiotherapy but had to stop after 10 sessions, as his white cells were dropping.

I currently take the following supplements: Zita West Vitafem Omega 3 (2000mg fish oil with 440mg DHA) Vitamin C 200mg CoQ10 200mg Zinc 3mg Magnesium 120mg Proxeed women (just started last week) My partner is on the following: Wellman Vitabiotics Ultra Lycopene 15mg CoQ10 200mg Proxeed

Probably 7 of the top 12 or so are statins, metformin, sulforaphane, melatonin, lycopene, modified citrus pectin, vitamin E, and vitamin D.

I took for 8 years and still now the following supplements : Resverstrol, coenxymeQ10 ,K2 , D3 ,B12 , D, Complex B50 , Lycopene, Calcium ,Tumeric ,C. My testosterone is now 0.5 My PSA 0.85 Gleason 4+3 Metastatic prostate cancer with diffuse bone metasstases .

My first battery of blood tests in relation to hypo shows excessively high lycopene. (1.62 for a range of 0.5 to 1.3). I cannot find any information on lycopene imbalance, only that it is a good thing, but even too much of a good thing can be bad. Does anyone have info on this? Thanks so much.

I started including tomato paste (high in lycopene) in my morning breakfast smoothie (about 2 oz). My next PSA was 0.09. Will have another PSA in about a month and see what is happening. Best wishes

For 6 mos I started about 7 g of modified citrus pectin and lycopene Dailey and Psa dropped from 3.3 to 2.78 in a period about a month . Hope it’s cancer kill and just dormancy or just a Psa drop. Can’t be proved without a scan and big pharm can’t make money on it

Nothing seemed to make much difference except lycopene. LYCOPENE Lycopene, as in heated tomato based foods, (tomato soup, pasta sauce, catsup, taco sauce, etc.) reduced inflammation at pain spots in my back, lymph nodes mostly.
