Test results advice
Hi, could anyone advise on these test results? I have family history of hypothyroid on one side, and autoimmune diseases on the other side. Ive been feeling progressively more awful over the last year or so, but for ages the GP and I put it down to depression and I accepted a higher dose of citalopram

Gluten free diet and Hashimoto's - any advantage? Appears to be so.
This recent paper indicates gluten-free diet can be a useful aid for women with Hashimoto's:

Undiagnosed Endometriosis from lap and Orilissa. Do I have endo?
Hi all, I recently had a laparoscopy with my OBGYN that left me without answers. He said that I had blisters/possible endometriosis on my ovary, but it didn't explain my pain. Since then I've had my case looked over by a specialist who said that I probably have stage one endometriosis. He also wanted

Gluten free
My next step, in this journey, is to try a gluten free diet. I’ve done some reading and am a little overwhelmed. It seems like everything contains gluten. Any suggestions on where to start? Thanks!

I was newly diagnosed with a wheat allergy. I decided it would be easiest to follow a gluten free diet. I’ve doing great eating vegetables, fruits, proteins. Nothing out of the ordinary for me. Just no wheat. Well, this is the 4th day GF and I’m getting major hot flashes, tingly all over my body and

Home made gluten free shortbread biscuits with ground almonds 🌞
Hi everyone, These are one of my favourite biscuits made with ground almonds and plain GF flour which includes buckwheat flour. I used organic butter free range eggs and unrefined sugar with ground almonds to top so they are still much healthier than many shop bought biscuits and a treat for those

Coeliac blood test, when to eat gluten?
I've been on a gluten free diet now for 6 years since I was in my mid 20s as even the slightest amount of cross contamination from crumbs etc. started to set me off with severe bowel issues and I lost 2 stone. It still has the same effect now so I avoid it completely. My old GP put it down to IBS and

Unresolved thyroid condition
I posted a couple of months ago results from medichecks and historical NHS tests. Since then I have had several visits to the GP who refused to acknowledge medicheck tests (which included T3 and vitamin analysis). I had further NHS tests done which contradicted private tests and which I simply do not

Appetite
Has anyone found that they have lost their appetite, and lost weight, after an Ataxia diagnosis? Has anyone tried a gluten free diet? I live in North London/Enfield, am 70, and wonder if their is anyone locally who has been diagnosed with Ataxia? My diagnosis, some 2 years ago, is idiopathic late onset

Endocrinologist test results - please help me! (And ferritin not going up)
Hi everyone, I received some blood test results from my endocrinologist. She had said in my last appointment that if these tests didn't show anything up then it's "just chronic fatigue". I've attached a photo of my results and wondered what you all thought. I know that she hasn't run some tests which

Dramatic Recovery In Parkinson’s Patient with Gluten Free Diet
Anyone tried this? Could gluten's toxicity extend to the nervous system, producing symptoms identical to classical Parkinson's disease? A remarkable case study adds to a growing body of research indicating that wheat's neurotoxicity is greatly underestimated. A remarkable case report describing the dramatic

GP Limits Levo to 50mcg
Good morning everyone, My new test results have come back 'Normal' but are causing me some worry. Since I began taking Levothyroxine in November, current results show the following changes: TSH has changed from 5.19 to 0.99 (0.10-5.00) and T4 has increased from 11 to 12 (12-23). T3 was only tested
