Lung Cancer is a National Epidemic. The president recently declared opiate related deaths an epidemic that has reached National Emergency Status. 91 people die from it everyday. Why then isn't lung cancer a National Emergency? 433 people die every day from lung cancer. 433 people died from lung cancer

Slippery elm
I have had a single lung transplant one year ago and about two months ago got a chest infection for which since then I've been on carbasistine to clear my mucous coz it's seems to get stuck! It doesn't seem to be doing very much at all, so on the Internet today I've found a herbal capsule from Holland

6 month check up
Exactly one year ago I had a
lobectomy
and a wedge resection on my right
lung
. Well 6 months ago they saw a very tiny nodule on my left lung and one on my right. They weren't concerned about the left one, but were watching the right one.

The start of lung cancer
My husband has been taken to hospital with pneumonia and then cancer is it possible he started this when he went a bit delirious a week or so ago, nobody asked me, but found it on line. Now they say they can't diagnose which cancer it is to treat him. Any clues would help in this waiting game. Marie22

Frustration!
Bit of a rant today..... As a teacher I have to teach 'the whole child'. When is someone in the medical profession going to see me as a person and not a series of baffling conditions?!!! Having been rejected for a lung transplant due to problems with my oesophagus I would have thought I'd see someone

Dad w/Stage 4 Lung Cancer
Hello All, New to Free to Breath though I battled cancer back in 2009 I feel like it was nothing compared to this. My dad was diagnosed September 12 of this year. This journey started with a bad cough and then a trip to the ER. He has Non Small Cell and was a candidate for KEYTRUDA, an immunotherapy.

3 weeks post op
I was diagnosed in June of this year with right upper lobe stage 1 cancer. I was extremely lucky to have found it so early. My husband had a heart attack and as a result gave me a heart scan for Christmas. Long story short, CT showed a mass and now it's gone via a lobectomy 3 weeks ago. My question to

This is the link to the survey http://tulanestudy.com. The survey takes about 10 minutes and asks about people's beliefs
