Update ozurdex implant 2
It was a bit painful going in, but then the
Lucentis
always were in that spot too. At least it didnt bleed as bad as last time just a trail down from the inj site. What was weird was the dr pushing on my eye, making the implant move - that wasnt painful just uncomfortable and odd.

Delay with Hospital appointments
Are Hospitals obliged to provide appointments for
lucentis
injections within a specified time. Mother attended usual check up on 21st September 2017 when she was informed she could have one injection if she wished as there was a slight bleed.

'Historic' WMD??
I was diagnosed with WMD ( left eye) 4 years ago and have had more than 30 injections of Eylea/
Lucentis
. My sight is 20/20 (6/6) in both eyes and apparently stable though there is still some fluid visible on the scan.

Query re possible WMD check ups at local Opticians
(last one was 12th June) She has had a number of
lucentis
jabs. When we attend there is often three to four hours wait.

Can see better if I cover one eye.
I had my first injection of
Lucentis
3 weeks ago, next one due in ten days time, but although I think the sight in my eye has improved my two eyes do not work together.

Looking for others experiencing a seemingly permanent floater from silicone oil after Avastin injection
Switched to
Lucentis
since, so far, so good. It is beyond annoying: the shape and size of an olive slice. White/almost fluorescent center.

On a journey
I have since been switched from Avastin to
Lucentis
. Has anyone else experienced this? And reported it, hopefully?

Pathological Myopia/Myopic CNV - told Eylea is licensed for use in UK but not funded in England (only Scotland and Wales)
They're going to try another
Lucentis
in my right eye to see what happens, but I talk to lots of people in clinic and know that if
Lucentis
stops working in AMD, most switch to Eylea with good results.

Does laser surgery benefit AMD sufferer?
I was diagnosed with wet AMD in right eye in January and have since had five injections of
Lucentis
and Eyelea in both eyes. Would having Laser surgery benefit sight in both eyes?

Cataract in bad eye
I was diagnosed some 3/4 years ago and to date have had about 43
lucentis
injections. I have been told that I have a cataract in my bad eye.....waiting to see consultant next month for an opinion on whether it's worth having the cataract removed.

Eyelea loading dose complete
I told them my first few
Lucentis
had hurt after but then got ok so why bad again with eyelea? They said eye can get used to the iodine then arbitrarily decide it doesn't like it again! Don't know why exactly but I've been nervous again with these inj after having settled down with the others.

Getting Worse
Had 12
Lucentis
injections in my right eye a few years ago & the result was amazing. From the first one there was an improvement & the sight has been good apart from the grey blob from the dry amd creeping on.

9th Eyelea injection
Dont think that the Eyelea is working as well on my left eye as the
Lucentis
did on my right eye a few years ago. With the
Lucentis
i had an immediate improvement from the first injection & now have fairly good sight in the right eye. I can still read & colour with my white light behind me.

Very disappointing visit today, possible PDT treatment and switch to avastin
The discussion was whether I am no longer responding to Eylea and we either have switch to Avastin or
Lucentis
and how we might possibly add PDT treatment. Has anyone had PDT treatments? If so, what was your experience?
