Hello Jim,
I'd suggest you don't worry what fat ratio you need. Elderly people like ourselves very much need to keep the protein up, as most people don't. Sarcopenia (muscle wastage) is a huge issue and lack of protein and exercise needs to be addressed. Just eat say a beefburger with an egg for example. Bacon and egg is another. Coffee with cream, cheese on it's own, tinned oily fish etc and eat till full just twice a day.
We are the ONLY animal on the planet who needs to think about what we eat. Cut out processed food, eat like our grandparents and we are good to go.
