Weight gain is making me miserable - but which drug is it?
I’m 65, have always been slim and pretty healthy. Everything has fallen apart in the last six months. I’m now on 10mg of Bisoprolol, 50mg of Losartan and 5mg of Amlodipine a day! I’m piling on weight and my legs are swelling, both of which are making me very miserable. I guess it’s better than being

bisoprolol and shortness of breath
Hello, I am on bisprolol 2.5 mg for inappropriate sinus tachycardia, which was thought to have caused/exacerbated my shortness of breath (which was initially caused by severe anemia but persists despite normal Hb [but ferritin is low normal]) . The bisoprolol also brought down my diastolic BP which

Right just seen the doc told my BP far too high which is why kidney function is poor. He Has added another tablet called Losartan. Anyone else take this be interested to hear if it has helped. Does Losartan cause muscle and joint pain?
I was given Losartan 50 MG by my cardiologist and it did not seem to do anything so she increased it to 100 MG. She said she would rather max out the Losartan before adding another medication. The 100 MG did not seem to do much either as my BP was a little higher than I would like. I went back to her

Propranolol (Beta-blocker) withdrawal side effects
Hi About a month ago I was swapped from Propranolol/Bedranol 80mg (1 per day) to Losartan. When I started taking this pill it obviously lowered by resting heart rate to a consistent level of 58/59 BPM. However, this was not much of a lowering, I would have expected my resting heart rate to be less

Anyone had success with Tadalafil for treating severe Raynauds?
Hello all I have Systemic Sclerosis and Secondary Raynauds. Have tried (all separately) Nifedipine, Losartan 75mg, then Sildenfil, GTN patches, combined Losartan and Fluoxetine all with NO success. Professor Denton has mentioned that I am a candidate for Tadalifil. Just wondering if anyone has had success

Vitamin supplements
I’ve been thinking I probably need to take some extra vitamins — what do most of you take to help balance things out with Pred ? I’m currently on 10mg Prednisolone and the only other meds I take are Losartan and Amlodipine for high BP. I’m considering calcium, Vitamin D, B12, magnesium?
