my mum has recently had a left lung
lobectomy
they removed the tumour it was 6.2 cm, test showed it had not travelled to the lymph nodes. however they have found something in her spine. Mum had adenocarcinoma, is this safe to say the cancer has spread to the spine,!!!!!

Update on CAT scan
This could also be metastasis from the breast cancer surgically removed 3 months prior to the
lobectomy
. My oncologist is 70 - 80% sure it is lung cancer and I'm 99% sure. Time will tell. Now we wait.

3 weeks post op
Long story short, CT showed a mass and now it's gone via a
lobectomy
3 weeks ago. My question to all who have proceeded me, how long does the pain and shortness of breath last? They want you to breath deep to build up lung capacity but it's hard to do when it hurts. Thanks for listening.

Exactly one year ago I had a
lobectomy
and a wedge resection on my right lung. Well 6 months ago they saw a very tiny nodule on my left lung and one on my right. They weren't concerned about the left one, but were watching the right one.

Severe Nausea post lobectomy surgery
I was diagnosed with lung cancer in both lungs (non small cell ). I had lower lobe on right side removed and 7 weeks later the upper left lobe removed. Since my last surgery which was 8 wks ago I have been suffering from loss of appetite and severe nausea. I went from 118 lbs before any surgery to 97

What causes pleural effusion (stage 4 Adenocarcinoma)
She did have some excess fluid after her
lobectomy
and the DR at A and E said tonight it could just have been slowly building up over the last few months but I am worried sick that it's something more sinister.

Radiofrequency ablation NHS
The treatment may not be suitable for everyone, particularly those who would benefit more from
lobectomy
with identified thyroid disease, but if your TSH is normal, nodules are large, benign and well defined this is an option worth looking at.

Back where I started!
Hi I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis some 34 years ago. Had all the normal treatments and regular stays in hospital. Then 6 years ago had a emergency total colectomy. Left hospital with a ileostomy . At the time it was the best thing that happened as at last I had some control over my bowels. A

I have COPD so after a breathing tests it was decided if I had a

high TSH after my Op
i had a parial thyoroid
lobectomy
in November, my TSH is now 4.25. I am 100MG of levoyhroxone a day, my doc has told me to come back in 6 months for more blood tests. I assumed that I would have been told to increase the dose? I dont feel to bad generally, a bit tired now and then but mostly ok.

Grandma of many
I had a
lobectomy
and a wedge resection as my treatment. At the time of my surgery, they removed 15 lymph nodes, and they were all cancer free, so hopefully everything was caught early and no more problems. I get scanned and blood work every 6 months.
