He is the leading expert on PBC. Hope it helps... The subject is discussed in the chapter for 'Treatment of PBC'. Many have been

I want to make everyone aware of an amazing book by the world reknowned PBC expert. I encourage everyone, especially those newly diagnosed, to purchase this book - both editions if possible. Dr. Jones has been one of the contributors to The PBC Foundation's Thursdays' live Q&A sessions. This information

Post Transplant Fatigue
Hello, I had my liver transplant just over 6 years ago now and apart from an issue right at the beginning, I have been well. I’ve not even had covid! G P telephone consultation
My GP rang to review my blood tests. All were normal apart from an elevated GGT. It has been elevated for a long time which is why I was referred for a Fibroscan and this scan showed Cirrhosis (17kpa). As I have mentioned previously this was alarming news as I had never drank and had a lower BMi.

Someone recently asked me about taking Urso after my transplant and the return of the disease for me. I can't find the post but I wanted to answer. I have taken Urso since I was 35 years old. I am now 73. I have had no real problems with it all these years luckily. About 25% of those who have a liver

I don’t understand my diagnosis as it’s changed from being overdosed by opiates (hospital error). Now it’s change.
It was a while to get my sight back but I was also told that I was had
Liver
failure
. All my different consultants got together and realised that I was on so much opiates which it caused my liver to fail. Obviously it was serious & the whole of my body to swell.
