Hello ladies, May I please ask how many of you are taking the Alendronic Acid and if so for how long, and has anyone experienced any nasty side affects. My rheumatologist thinks I've started, but I haven't. Was on the lower dose of Pred (15 mg) back in Dec last year, and for the past 2 weeks been

Amitriptyline for Endometriosis - what’s your experience?
I’ve tried several painkillers now: codeine, mefanamic acid, tramadol, codydramol and naproxen. They’ve now prescribed me Amitriptyline and I was wondering what anyone else’s experience was with this drug or any other medication they have found useful with managing endometriosis pain?

MELATONIN FOR COVID-19 / Part 1
One possible problem for moderate to severe Covid-19 patients is the potential for significant damage to the lungs and possibly other organs like the liver based on what is being seen in patients. SO ANGRY: RESULTS GIVEN VIA EMAIL...REALLY!!??
So angry and I decided to write my frustrations out and seek help from all of you. My husband sees Dr Oh at Mount Sinai. Did bone scan and CT scan friday. 5 docetaxel treatments to date but he had a PSA increase past 2x's (.5 and again 1.5.) Dr Oh suggested adding carboplatin for number 6. I asked

Anyone find calcium tablets difficult to stomach?
Has anyone found that taking calcium tablets doesn’t agree with them? I started taking Accrete D3 on Monday, each film coated tablet contains cholecalciferol 400IU and calcium 600mg ( as calcium carbonate 1500mg) and I take 2 a day. The excipients are hydrogenated soya-bean oil and sucrose. I’ve felt

Any advice on use of Alendronic Acid and Calceos
I have just been diagnosed with Osteoporosis. I am female and 64 years old and a polio survivor. I have lead a full and active life and raised a family. Polio left me with weakened upper body muscles but apart from a couple of throat infections over the years I have had no reason to visit a doctor. Last

(Edit: first of all the support and kindness I have received on this is just overwhelming and I am so so grateful and appreciative for all the advice and positivity. Thank you. My erythrocyte reading is off the chart low, 4.48, but my gastroenterologist makes nothing of it, but it reflects my liver condition, yes?
I am an 81 year old male diagnosed a year ago with Stage 3; on 500 mg Ursodiol 2 x daily, my blood results have returned to normal, except for the erythrocytes.

Is Bisphosphonates treatment like Zoledronic Acid 5 mg injection good or bad for bone fractures?
The lower denture of my mother aged 79 years does not fit properly because of gum recession. The maxillofacial surgeon in India recommended her denture implantation. But when I told the doctor that she has taken the 3rd injection of Stoplos One (zoledronic acid) in India on 28.09.2019 and the 1st injection

Hi all, I'm new to the community. I've issues like painful sex, heavy periods, illnesses without an explanation for as long as I can remember. Last year I had biopsy after previously finding CIN3 and received a letter back stating 'the sampl has shown changes consistent with a condition called endometriosis
