Statins for 65 yr old asthmatic woman
Hi, has anyone had any experience with
Lipitor
statins ? My GP decided to prescribe them for me. I tried to explain that I wasn't 100% on this as I have had bad reactions to various drugs, vaccines in the past.

CHANGING TO TAKING MEDS AT NIGHT
I now take my Bisoprolol, Candesartin and
Lipitor
at 9 AM, and my Rivaroxiban at 9 PM. How can I safely move the timing of my morning meds to 12 hours later, so I take all my meds at 9 PM? I asked Dr Gupta about this, but haven't heard anything yet.

Re: Report About Taking Blood Pressure Meds At Night
(I take Bisoprolol,

Anybody Else Taking a Statin?
But after almost 5 months on on the
Lipitor
, I started having worse leg pain. I don't know if it's the
Lipitor
causing it, or if my legs have simply atrophied more recently.

I am on
Lipitor
40 mg, perindopril 2 mg, bisoprolol 5 mg, brillinta 90mg and asa tab of 81 mg. I am so scared of the statin use and the other meds. I don’t know enough about lipid tests. I am trying to change my diet.

Bisoprol
Have been asked to change my meds, at present taking apixaban,
Lipitor
, digoxin, and adizam. Asked to drop adizam and add bisoprole. All the post on here seem to give bisoprol the thumbs down, so can any of you let me know some good accounts of this drug. Regards Val

As my cholesterol sticks stubbornly around 5, I have decided that I really should start taking statins....tonight! Which is 7 days before my next INR check.....I have been very resistant to this for ages. The Locum GP recently described me as "high risk" so I am thinking I really ought to give them a

Here is a report of one case of Atorvastatin related hearing loss: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22392429 ... and conversely, here is a report that Atorvastatin has positive effects on tinnitus: " In assessing the effectiveness of atorvastatin (

80 mg lipitor??
I was told i needed to take plavix and 40mg
Lipitor
along with a specific diet. After 7 months of doing as instructed I'm now told I need to go to 80 mg
Lipitor
because my cholesterol is rising high. Now I'm concerned about liver damage and why they can't give me a reason for the rise.

PSA dropped to 3.9 this month after rising to 4.3 from the 3.8 two months ago
After the scare last month, I added 1000mg of Metformin to the daily 2gms, doubled the daily
Lipitor
and Casodex. Maybe the PSA was just an outlier. Still doing IF and CBD oil. Gonna add DIM and Nattokinase this time and check again. Did a 5k race and got a great view of the Queen Mary.

ET & Statin Usage
Has anyone experienced a reduction in their platelet count as a result of taking atorvastatin (
Lipitor
). Are there any research articles on it? Or anecdotal evidence?

Which Statin is best if you have anxiety?
I have been on 80mg of
Lipitor
(atorvastatin) for at least 9 years now. A couple of months ago I got pains all over my body and a specialist suggested going off the statin to see if it made any difference.

Allergic to meds?
I am wondering if anyone takes paroxetine(Paxil),
Lipitor
or Metformin and has experienced anything like this. A biopsy of my lesions said it was from a bug bite or medicinal allergy. Also, does anyone know if allergist or neurologist would test for this? Thanks!
