I was on 100 levothyroxine and 18 liothyronine until a week ago when I swapped some (25) levothyroxine for 6.25 liothyronine. I wonder if I can increase my liothyronine by another 6.25 now a week later as I am starting to feel undermedicated and I wanted to increase my ft3 levels when I swapped but wanted to let some of the levothyroxine wash out first. Results before doing the swap (so on 100 levothyroxine and 18 liothyronine.)
Tsh 0.004
Ft4 18 (10-19.8)
Ft3 5.7 (3.5-6.5)
Thanks!

I think you should wait. Dose changes need time for you to adjust to them. I take Levo plus T3 and when I make a change to my dose then I find that I need 8 weeks for my levels to stabilise.
Your FT3 was already pretty good at 5.7, the extra 6.25mcg T3 may probably, given time, raise it to very close to top of range. Adding any more may take it over. I would wait for 6-8 weeks on your 18mcg T3 plus Levo and then retest and reassess.
Thank you. I guess I wasn't clear enough. When I increased my t3 by 6.25 I lowered t4 by 25 at the same time. So this change of I understand it correctly (6.25 T3 ~20t4) isn't an increase in dose. So if I would add 6.25 T3 now that would mean an increase in dose.
