Ayurvedic aids to diabetes management
My fbs and ppbs are both high...129 and 169 despite taking 1500mg of metformin and 2 doses of 60mg sulphonylurea per day. Has anyone tried karela jamun juice, cinnamon, periwinkle flower etc for lowering bs levels and how much has it helped?

Night Time
So for the last 3 nights in a row I have had palpitations before bed. Have waken up to use the bathroom and had afib for an average of 30 min. I am taking metoprolol, losartan, apixaban, metformin, and sertraline. These occurrences happen exclusively at night and always after eating. No matter what I

Effective ways to lower sugar levels on medication.
What is the most effective way to lower sugar levels to accepted standards if you are taking a combination of medication of metformin and glycomin?

Anyone else on Metformin for T2 diabetes
I was diagnosed with UC two weeks ago and the colonoscopy brought on a flare - I think I only had rectal bleeding before. I say 'think' because about 5 weeks previously I'd been diagnosed with T2 diabetes for which I'm taking Metformin. One of the most common side effects of this drug is diarrhea so

Hello, I'm new and thought I'd introduce myself (sorry it's so long)!!
Hi, I thought I'd introduce myself! Firstly, I have insulin resistance, not diabetes, but this is the most relavent community I could find, so hope you don't mind me being here! I'm 17 and was diagnosed with a rare genetic form of insulin resistance (which sort of mimics type 2), poly cystic ovaries

Dr. Myers - Durable, Complete Prostate Cancer Remissions
Recent presentation by Dr. Myers. Interesting how important Metformin has now become in his treatments. & statins - although he seems not to prescribe if there is no cardio risk. Statins seem to have most benefit in aggressive disease, & I can't see why he would withhold their use. Men with low cholesterol

Apatone was granted FDA approval as an orphan drug. Even though Apatone is considered a drug you can buy a supplement called ProsStay .....somehow even though Apatone is patented ProsStay is Apatone sold as an over the counter supplement. I am going to stack ProsStay, Zyflamend, Casodex, Metformin, Avodart

Aspirin
This post is prompted by a new study [B6]. I use NSAIDs maybe once or twice a year, in a bad year. I have never been tempted by prophylactic use of aspirin - even low-dose. Aspirin has been around for well over a century (since 1899), so never needed U.S. FDA approval. Some say that if it were a new
