DI02 Gene test
As if I hadn’t spent sufficient thousands on trying to find the answers I went and did a DI02 test to see whether I had difficulty in converting T4 to T3. Primarily to present my findings to the endo in the hope I may get Liothyronine on the NHS. The result came back saying the TT genotype appears

Is there a study using 100mcg of T3?
Hello everyone. Is there a study in which a group treated with t3 monotherapy receives at least 100mcg of liothyronine? I want to convince my doctor to increase my dose, and I noticed that he is only interested in studies. He thinks that even 60 mcg was a super high dose and he hardly wanted to give

reposting - sweet spot missed advice needed on dosing
- T3 4.4 (3.1 - 6.8) 35% through range I followed the protocols for testing Current meds 10mcg
liothyronine
(privately sourced) Alternate days of 75mcg / 100 mcg
levothyroxine
I also take the common supplements (vit D, B complex etc) Current symptoms - the T3 has made a big difference

Hi there,I know this has been asked a few times on here but please can someone remind me how many hours I should hold off my medication which is
Levothyroxine
and
Liothyronine
prior to finger prick testing which I'm looking at doing at about 9am. TIA

slow release liothyronine
Like many people on here I miss the wise opinion and knowledge of Diogenes enormously. I know he was working on the formulation of a slow release liothyronine which was in clinical trial. Does anyone have an update on this? is it any closer? In the meantime I am tempted to try sustained release compounded

Are some private endos prescribing NDT so they can keep you as a private patient?!
Corresponding with a member on here today I found in writing a brief description of my private treatment that I am beginning to question some Endo’s motivation for trialling NDT first rather than Liothyronine. Is it maybe a cynical plan to keep you private as NDT is not available on the NHS whereas Liothyronine

Morningside liothyronine 5mcg supply issues
I'm having problems to get Morningside liothyronine 5mcg. I have a regular script specifying Morningside Liothyronine 5mg which I take twice daily. Boots has been unable to get hold of it this month and their supplier is sending Viatris brand instead, which has mannitol that caused me serious problems

Advanz Liothyronine
I'm having difficulty in getting hold of Mercury Pharma Liothyronine. However, a chemist said it can supply Advanz. I'm sure I read on here a while back that Advanz and Mercury Pharma are one and the same. Is that correct? Thank you for any feedback on this.

Liothyronine (T3) or NDT without a prescription
Hi, I’m currently taking levothyroxine but I still have hypo symptoms (tiredness, feeling cold, dry skin, etc.). My most recent test results show that everything is in the correct range, but my T4 is at the high end of the normal range while my T3 is in the bottom third, so I’d like to trial a medication

Antibiotic therapy. Now I have severe insomnia
My current dose of thyroid medication is: 1)
Levothyroxine
100mcg daily in the morning 2)
Liothyronine
12.5mcg in the morning and afternoon I'm skipping the afternoon T3 dose for a couple of days to see if that will correct the problem. As I type this message, I'm unable to sleep.

rT3 with Thybon?
I have been taking only Thybon for so long I cannot remember if it makes sense to measure rT3? I saw a new practitioner today and he was clearly unhappy when I said that I don’t need T4, fT4 and rT3 measured because I am on Liothyronine. Please bring me up to date on this topic, thank you!

Latest endo appointment. Will not increase T3 as TSH now low!!!!!
About 6 weeks ago, because of a change in make of liothyronine I made a mistake and instead of taking 2 x 10mcg tablets, I took 2 x 20mcg.When I realised, I anticipated the worst. However, I was fine, in fact more than fine. My prescribed dose was 30mcg daily. But, I started to take 20mcg twice daily
