Low TSH, High T3, what to do
Hello, I really do need help with my current labs. I was finally able to get tested for TSH, T4, and T3. Couldn’t get the RT3 (sadly) Turns out my symptoms of fatigue, PEM, no energy, tiredness, etc. weren’t thyroid related at all (as I was suspecting) because these are my results. T3 definitely is in

At my wits end! Should I just get NDT to try?
Hi all, For 2 & a half years now I have been chronically ill, after suffering a 3 month chest infection & battling PTSD from childhood abuse. Exhaustion, muscle & joint point and major brain fog being the most debilitating symptoms, but I tick many of the usual thyroid symptoms for both hyper & hypo

Low Cortisol Levels
My daughter had a cortisol test several weeks ago The results were Cortisol 58 and ACTH 9.1 Her cardiologist wrote to the GP asking she make an urgent referral to the Endocrine service. The referral was made as a routine referral as the GP did not feel urgent was appropriate and her appointment isnt

Is a Short Synacthen Test enough?
Saw an endo after bloods showed low cortisol. I've been exhausted for about 10 years. He only did the same routine tests my GP did (FBC, TSH, FT4) , repeated the cortisol (low again) and is doing an SST to "complete the investigation". No pituitary/hormone panel, no MRI, nothing. My libido is GONE. I'm

Hi, I feel all symptoms of low Cortisol, blood test says opposite, i was thinking to try HC and see if there is any improvements, I don’t know dosages , I’m pretty sure that is not thyroid because I don’t feel thyroid symptoms. thanks.

Sleep apnoea home test
Has anyone used the Hope2Sleep home test where you rent the kit for 1-3 nights? I'm tempted to do it as I doubt I'll get a sleep study arranged by my GP. Symptoms are snoring, fatigue, never refreshed after sleep, waking during the night to go to the toilet, no libido, poor memory. Could be anything

If Short Synacthen Test negative for Addison's, what tests would follow for low cortisol?
Hi All I am looking for some advice and warn that yet again this will be a long post! I have had several 9am blood tests that show low cortisol and so was sent by my NHS endo to have a SST yesterday morning. The results will take a week, and the nurse doing the test said that if I did not have Addison's

Thyroid and Adrenals both, how to heal?
My main issues right now is this debilitating fatigue, and general weakness, both mental and physical. I get tired from just thinking (or remembering even, processing info, etc) from taking my Dog out for a walk, from reading a few sentences, doing easy, basic mundane daily tasks. It’s like this constant

Is joint pain in the hands a normal symptom of Hashi's?
I was diagnosed with Hashi's 6+ years ago. I know I'm under medicated and am currently working with a functional medicine doctor to correct this, as I've had trouble increasing my dose because of very low cortisol. In the last few weeks I have developed a lot of pain in the joints in my hands. The pain

How to sleep more with low cortisol and hypo?
I’m having a lot of trouble falling asleep and remaining asleep. I have been checked for cortisol with the 24h saliva test, and I was low. I also have hypothyroidism. Are there any supplements I could take that really make a big difference when trying to sleep with adrenal fatigue?
