GP won't monitor Leflunomide, has anyone had this issue
He has suggested I move to
Leflunomide
as they are seeing some great results. He wrote to my GP but my GP won't prescribe this without a shared care agreement, these do not exist between the private and nhs sectors. Has anyone else had this issue and how did you get around it.

GCA and steroid reduction update
Dr also suggested I think about taking
Leflunomide
. I would be grateful for any experiences or advice about this as my initial reaction is not to add something else at this stage. Thank so much for your help, I so appreciate all your help on this forum.

Leflunomide
and I am getting really dry skin and also dry eyes, I’m not sure if it is the
leflunomide
that’s causing that or something else, the dry eyes concerns me the most, has anybody else had the same problems?

Update on Leflunomide and Alcohol
All seems to be going well with
Leflunomide
at present, and I have the extra support of the last couple of Tociluzumide injections which I'm spacing out.

Triple treatment adding Sulfasalazine
My current meds are Humira,
Leflunomide
10 mg, prednisone 6 mg and Celebrex 200 mg 2x a day. I started having more flares. My rheumy wants to add Sulfasalazine. He would like to get the ra more controlled and me off prednisone. I have been using higher does up to 20 mg for the flares.

Sick Day rules and Adrenal Insufficiency
We have a Rheumatology Helpline in Worcs and she is monitoring my bloods now that I'm on
Leflunomide
which seems to be working for me. They think that my PMR may have morphed into RA, because of my swelling knee. Anyone else had this diagnosis? Take care everyone.

Fatigue??
Nurse suggested I try
leflunomide
, which I agreed to, but having read side effects I think I’ll be no better off….. any advice please? I’ve been tearful since getting home as it just feels like the cruelest vicious circle - sorry, feeling rather sorry for myself today!

I found a successful treatment in
Leflunomide
in November 2020 along with the prednisone I could not taper off. I managed to get to 4mg but couldn't get any lower in early 2021 and the rheumatologist was happy with that.

Rituximab or Leflunomide
Having stopped rituximab in October after being informed there was no immunity for patients on it, I started
leflunomide
in the meantime until I got all my vaccines and I find I’m feeling really well on it. Has anyone else tried
Leflunomide
and what are your thoughts on it.

Leflunomide - side effects continue
Am awaiting results on an ultra sound but I strongly suspect it is the
Leflunomide
as my PSA and urine were both fine. Will see a new rheumatologist on February 3 and am seriously considering stopping this evil drug.
