Urination
I was urinating for last 3 years on in center dialysis. Now I have stopped urinating. I had been taking lasix but dr took me off. Has anyone stopped and then restarted urinating ?

No Answers; clock running out before I see latest doctor regarding prolonged, successful 18-year Coumadin use for clot to brain
I've written before, trying to find answers. I've had years of strange symptoms following a bout with Myocarditis and CHF. After successful treatment and a discharge by the cardiologist, I developed grotesque feet/hand swelling (increased several sizes within weeks). Sought out a rheumatologist who

burmag Swollen feet and lower legs with rls
Does anyone get swollen feet and lower legs with their rls symptoms? I do- which makes it worse. I tale Lasix (furosemide) for cardiac probs and it works well keeping excess fluid out of my lungs and rest of body-but not my feet. My feet look like toddlers feet-you know rectangles and puffy on top. Drives

Diuretics and lymphedema- yes or no?
I want to share a recent experience with you that has me stumped (no pun intented). Last June I was unexpectedly hospitalized in California. I went to the emergency room with excruciating abdominal pain, which turned out to be a small bowel obstruction. I dont remember any of this but at the admitting

Reply to Q 'Do I have asthma & not know it?'
I know exactly the feeling in my respiratory tract and scenario you describe. I had to see a Locum GP and he changed my life. He prescribed Furosemide, sold under the brand name Lasix. My Cardiologist said it's not necessarily because I have heart failure. I think the respiratory tract is in a constant

PLEASE HELP!! Coumadin for Stroke -long term therapy; Raynaud's; Type II diabetes, Severe allergy, hypothroidism, migraines
I am NEW HERE and My story is lengthy and complicated. Early '90s developed Myocarditis and CHF. A year long treatment of Lopresser helped heart to heal but set me on the path for other problems. I am allergic to many things (environmental and chemical). After taking Lopressor (which made me ill) I developed

Hi, docundy, You're post had a lot of pertinence for me. I also believe many drugs cause or exacerbate rls. The trick is finding out which ones (I suspect more than just one of one;s 'drug arsenal'.) I'm 73,recently diagnosed, and would like to get off my Xanax. I take them for anxiety, have some several

Born with drusen
To top it off, I've had
Lasik
, so it's very difficult to test my eye pressure. He also said that there's an argument in the community over whether to treat the drusen like glaucoma, and said he'd feel much more comfortable sending me to a specialist. Has anyone else had this sort of problem?

Good Day Everyone! I write on some sites for my 91 yr old mother. She has had afib for over 25 yrs and I am a member of that group and it is very informative! She also has congestive heart failure now and I am most interested in joining a group that is focused on that condition. I don't see such a

Keep safe in the Sun
Chemotherapy treatments can cause your skin to be more sensitive to the sun that usual. Please take care. Nearly any chemotherapy agent (or non-cancer-related medications as well) may cause you to be more sensitive to the sun. It’s important to talk with your oncologist about your particular medications

Swelling of legs
I am taking 180mg Diltiazem twice a day. Seems like it's keeping my heart rate in 70's and my BP is fine - I do have quite a lot of swelling in my ankles and legs. I am 86 and also have diabetes but I am very tall and thin. I also use a BiPap when I sleep. I've been taking 10mg Lasix and my dr just

86 with A-fib, next step?
Hi I am 86 and was diagnosed with SVT in Jan 2017 - my heart rate was 150. Then I was told I was a-flutter/a-fib. I was over medicated (metroprolo, digoxin and Diltiazem) and my rate came way down. I was told I needed a pacemaker, then I was put on Diltiazem only - which wasn't enough and my heart rate

Afib and congestive heart failure
Hello - I write about my mother who is 90 yrs. old with afib and recently diagnosed with chf. She was on 10 mgs. of Lasix 2 x a day, but her edema and congestion in her lungs increased and she was very short of breath - especially at night and she had to sit in her recliner to get her breath back.
