Uterine Polyp Biopsies
I was told I probably had Endometriosis back in December and had a
Laparoscopy
today where no Endo was found but biopsies of my uterus lining was taken and what they thought were uterine polyps were also biopsies.

Surgery advice
I have finally got my
laparoscopy
date for the 20th March. I’ve never had an operation before and I’m so nervous so was wondering if someone could walk me through roughly what will happen on the day. Does anyone have any particular tips for preparing for surgery and then advice for post op??

Advice, symptoms. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced symptoms I'm having and advice after surgery.
He examined me and I was in pain afterwards, he could see how much pain I was in after the examination and referred me to have another scan and put me on a waiting list to have a
laparoscopy
for an official diagnosis.

newbie - just diagnosed need some help
Have any of you been diagnosed without a
laparoscopy
? He said because I have finished my family we don’t necessarily need to do one yet can you only have an endometrioma with endometriosis and does this mean it’s stage IV? From what I’ve read it sounds like it thanks for your time

Trouble emptying bladder
I'm waiting for surgery for
laparoscopy
for stage 4 endometriosis found on my ovaries, uterus and bowels. I've been really lucky that I don't get really bad symptoms and most of the time I can manage the pain. I sometimes get painful periods but with medicine it can be okay most of the time.

Anxiety post op
I had a
laparoscopy
to remove a blood cyst and clear/check for other endo back in march, I took a month off work which in hindsight might have been a bad idea.

Booked for diagnostic laparoscopy next week and super anxious.
Hi all, I’ve been on the waiting list to have a diagnostic
laparoscopy
for 2 years now and I am finally booked in for next week. I have been back and forth to the GP for years and only after having children and likening my pain to labour did I feel my GP listened.

Surgery options
I booked an appointment with a specalist last year and he gave me meds and told me at my next gynaecology appointment to ask to be put on the list for a
laparoscopy
. Well after longer than I thought I finally have an gyneacolist appointment on the NHS next week.

Consultant decided to withhold information from laparoscopy :(
In the summer i had a
laparoscopy
, which showed an enlarged uterus, query adenomyosis. That's all it said and that was sent to my gp.I had a scan previous to this that showed a large fibroid. When I queried this at the time I was told there wasn't one.

Pre laparoscopy
Hi I am due to have my first lap next Friday and I am wondering if anyone had an ultrasound that didn't show endo but it was found during their
laparoscopy
? I am so worried that they are not going to find anything as nothing was seen during my ultrasound.

confused whether to go ahead with laparoscopy
31 year old female Hi everyone I am due to have a diagnostic
laparoscopy
in 2.5 weeks. I am so nervous about the procedure and unsure whether to go ahead. My pain over the last few months has been manageable and my periods are ok. I don’t know whether I’m getting used to the pain.

Endo/ibs/perimeno/which one!?
Had a colonoscopy-all clear, then had
laparoscopy
which showed endo in my pouch of Douglas. Was told I could have surgery but I declined for now as pain not horrendous.

Specialist Endometriosis Clinic in Bedford
I'm thinking of paying privately for a consultation as I had a
laparoscopy
that didn't find anything at another hospital but the neither the hospital or surgeon specialised in endometriosis so I'm worried it's been missed like many others.

going toilet after laparoscopy
Hi everyone!! I had my diagnostic and excision surgery earlier today and they have found and removed endo tissue. I have been home for around 2 hours now and I was wondering if anyone had any issues with going toilet at all straight after? My bladder feels so full and I have to keep going to the toilet

Is an mri more accurate for Adenomyosis than a laparoscopy?
I've had a
laparoscopy
in August, that showed probable Adenomyosis. My consultant wanted me to have an mri for more information, as I was diagnosed by ultrasound with a large fibroid. Will the mri show more than the
laparoscopy
? I've had it this week. Thank you xx

Positive Experience - Diagnosis and Treatment
Following 3 and a half years of pain, negative
laparoscopy
(nothing found), normal ultrasounds, multiple gaslighting occasions and medical professionals saying I didn’t have gynae issues and my symptoms were related to other things… I finally had my second lap last Saturday.
