Specialist Endometriosis Clinic in Bedford

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any experience with Mr. M. A, Mahran in Bedford? He is an active member of the BSGE at the Specialist Endometriosis Clinic there.

I'm thinking of paying privately for a consultation as I had a laparoscopy that didn't find anything at another hospital but the neither the hospital or surgeon specialised in endometriosis so I'm worried it's been missed like many others.

Any shared experiences or advise appreciated - thank you.

Unfortunately they don’t allow comments about surgeons on the forum, there is a Facebook Endo forum that’s uk based and helpful.

I’ve found private consultation much more informative, if you go this route research a few specialists who also do NHS, they can add you to NHS list if they choose to. I’ve heard and read stories where it’s been missed.

Mr Mahran is a specialist in endometriosis and the lead for the Bridges Endometriosis Centre as accredited by the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy.
