laproscopy recovery average timescale?
Hi all! I am very very aware that we are all different, and we all heal at different speeds. So this question is just for an idea of what most people have found post surgery! I know it could be totally different for me, so please don't worry about me thinking that the time scale will be definitely

Laparoscopy advice
I’m due to have my second
laparoscopy
on Thursday and cautious that I’ll come on my period that day. I was due to start on Monday but, as they’re irregular, I haven’t come on yet. Can you still have your
laparoscopy
whilst on your period??!

morning all. I have a few things over lapping.im due to see a rheumatologist mid august for my severe back pain and neck pain. I know I have multiple herniated disks on MRI but I think my back pain and hip pain is related to possible endometriosis (lap booked in on sep 8th after a yr of waiting

Another Laparoscopy? Help!
Hey so some of you may know me and my story. For those that don't here's a summary; I'm 37, I've been diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2017 through my diagnostic lap, the specialist performed an excision around my bladder and uterus (stage 4). In 2018 I had a planned further excision of endo from my bowel

Laparoscopic Surgery - help
Hi all, I have been in this forum a while whilst under investigation for my symptoms. I fought for a referral to gynaecologist who was extremely unhelpful initially, and quite clearly hadn’t read my notes. After going back and forth in my consultation he decided to schedule the lap, I’m waiting on

Having mirena coil fitted
I had a mirena coil fitted when I was 18 but it was during my
laparoscopy
so I obviously wasn’t aware of it being inserted. Some complications and changes, it ended up ‘falling’ down. Then tried the implant and then the pill.

MRI question
Hello! I was diagnosed with Endo after they found an endometrioma on an ultrasound scan last December. I have a MRI tomorrow and I was just wondering if they talk you through the results of the MRI there and then or if you have to wait for a follow up appointment? I’m not on my period and I’m in a minimal

Help! Decapeptyl injection and HRT?
I have been offered a Decapeptyl 3month injection and HRT, and been told the
laparoscopy
waiting list is at least 6months+; but there’s a lot of risks for a lap because my bowel is stuck to my womb (been told I could end up with an ileostomy or colostomy bag!)

Painful belly button
Hi, Since my period began last week I've had a painful belly button. My lap scar is swollen, red and today has begun leaking brown and clear fluid. It looks like there is maybe loose skin like a burst blister in there? My last operation was 2 years ago. It hurts to the touch and when I bend over.

Spotting and bleeding
I have been diagnosed with severe endo 5 years ago after
laparoscopy
. My main symptom, was infertility. We were super lucky and IVF worked for us once. In the last 3 years we had 3 losses. Now, we had IVF in February which was unsuccessful. Since then I'm on no meds, nothing.

Hi everyone! I was never diagnosed with endometriosis, though I always had heavy and painful periods, irregular cycle, and after two miscarriages my bowel movement during period was so painful I was screaming (like a knife in butt). I just became used to it, few Ibuprofen pills usually help through

Did you have a laparoscopy? Is it worth doing it?
The hospital offered me hysteroscopy and since I will be under general anesthesia they said it’s worth doing a
laparoscopy

Has anyone had/heard of a laparoscopy that found nothing?
And I worry that the
laparoscopy
would find nothing and then I would feel like it was all a waste, and that there is no obvious cause for my pain.
