Laparoscopy or treating endo non-surgical ways?
My surgeon then offered me to have a
laparoscopy
(December earliest) to remove the endo, but after he explained the procedure it has made me feel so worried.

Is it endometriosis!?
I believe it’s endometriosis and doctor’s agree however say she’s too young for MRI pelvic scan or
laparoscopy
…. Her gynaecologist appointment is not till next summer ?! Any advice will be great as her social life / health as making her anxiety worse and school life is getting so affected .

No endo found
Hi everyone, I’m 2 days post
laparoscopy
and am recovering well. Unfortunately the surgeon said they did not find anything abnormal, no endo, no adhesions etc.

What could be causing this?
During a diagnostic
laparoscopy
my surgeon discovered (and treated) moderate endometriosis, he said there was dense endo on right uterosacral ligaments, right ovary stuck to uterus, and a small endometrioma on my right ovary.

Laporoscopy follow up poor?
Hi all 👋 I have undergone a lap today at Sunderland Royal Hospital. The op took only 45 mins and I was returned to the day case ward where the nurse advised me that my follow up would not be for 4 months where the consultant would discuss his findings. I'm not sure if this is usual? I asked if the consultant

Worse endo pain after laparoscopy
Hi everyone I had a
laparoscopy
(excision surgery) 9 months ago and they found stage 4 endo and adenomyosis. My question is, how common is it to be in more pain after the operation than before? I had the lap as we’d been trying to conceive for a while with no success.

How to decide on what treatment to go for with endometriosis?
I went to a private doctor and discussed my treatment options of hormonal - having the coil as the pill in not an option for me or a
laparoscopy
. Im thinking maybe trying the coil as going private with a
laparoscopy
would got thousands but with the NHS I could be waiting another two years.

Rough wait time for laparoscopy on the NHS
I have a call with the gyno in a few weeks to find out more and next steps etc but wondered what the wait time was for you for a
laparoscopy
? Is it a longer wait time since covid?

What would I be expecting during and after my
laparoscopy
? What should I be asking for? Recovery time? What can I do up until my surgery? Thank you! :)

Endo after a baby
I was diagnosed with endo in September 2017 after a
laparoscopy
to confirm and remove it. I luckily fell pregnant late last year and welcomed my baby girl on 1st August. I let myself have one natural period after birth before going back onto the pill.
