Pains almost constant
Hello, I'm currently (like many) waiting for a laproscopy! My aunty and my cousin have both been diagnosed and treated with endo and when talking to them my symptoms match. I haven't spoken to them too much about it though. I've been having pain a lot for months, and it doesn't seem to be just a few

Did you ovulate straight after first period following laparoscopy and excision of endo?
Just wondering what to expect, had my period 9 days post op, lasted 6 days and was heavy and painful for the last 4 days of it. I’m trying to track my ovulation with OPK’s and don’t appear to have ovulated yet when the app I have is telling me my peak day in my fertile window was yesterday. Does the

awaiting laparoscopy and anxious that the surgeon won’t find anything
I had a
laparoscopy
done a few years ago through the NHS but I don’t think it was an endometriosis specialist - they didn’t find anything at the time. Previous to that, I got diagnosed with PCOS.

Diagnosis achieved via skilled IV ultrasound
I finally just got my Diagnosis of endometriosis- not via a
laparoscopy
but via a very skilled IV ultrasound. Was totally worth paying to go to a high end endo centre.

Reoccurrence of endo post surgery
I had my
laparoscopy
in October where I had adhesions, cysts and endometriosis. I was told by the consultant /surgeon that she got everything and it may take years to return if ever. I left feeling full of hope, and those first poops the week after were a dream haha! (No nausea or pain!)

Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy in a week.
My
laparoscopy
and hysteroscopy is in a week and I’m worried about it. What can I expect to feel like when I come round from the op? Not had any kind of surgery since I was 4 years old. I’m now 30. What can a
laparoscopy
diagnose? If they find anything while in there, will they get rid of it?

Returning period after Zoladex ?
Hi, I am 28. I have suffered with Endo for 7 years and was diagnosed with it about 3 years ago. I was placed on the Zoladex injection every month for 2 and a half years. I had my last injection in December just gone and a lap in January this year, since then I have stopped all medication except Pregablin

I feel lost
Hey guys I’m new here! I was diagnosed with endo through laparoscopic surgery in December 2021. I had symptoms for 5 years and waited 2 years for the surgery alone. I also have PCOS and Hypothyroidism. I take 2 x Cerelle pills a day to control bleeding but just recently this has stopped working and

Post lap and intercorse
I finally had my
laparoscopy
12 days ago, I had endo removed from the back of my womb and cervix, they also found that my colon is stuck to old scar tissue from where I had my appendix removed 15 years ago (unfortunately they couldn't do anything as it could've caused complications).

Push for a Laparoscopy?
I've been dealing with extremely painful periods for years and am pretty sure I have endo symptoms. I'm currently trying to get a diagnosis but don't know when to stop. A couple of years ago I had an ultrasound that came back clear so the GP said there's no point pushing further as the treatment is the

6 weeks post lap and Bilateral Salpingo Oophorectomy returning pain?
Apologies in advance for the long post but I’m feeling very unsettled. I am nearly 6 weeks post lap which included removal of ovaries and tubes. My consultant came to see me whilst I was still in recovery to tell me that he had found my ovaries were completely stuck to my pelvic area by endo and he

Diagnosed after laparoscopy, call for support and how to cope with work?
Hello everyone, First of all, thanks for reading and being active on this forum. It’s nerve-racking to write here for the first time. I’ve had a major health struggle the past year, been pushed and thrown around from doctor to hospital, and finally I’ve been diagnosed: endometriosis. My medical history

Anyone else finally been diagnosed with endometriosis after years of being dismissed?
I had my
laparoscopy
yesterday after trying for 4 years to get it! As soon as I came out of surgery they told me it was endometriosis and I burst out crying purely from being relieved that I hadn’t been making up how much pain I was in.

Bowel surgeon requested
July just gone I had my
laparoscopy
to which I was told I had no endometriosis but I did have adenomyosis and scar tissue on my bowel. However since this my bowel symptoms have progressively gotten worse.

Found out my consultant may have been negligent…
I had a
laparoscopy
with a general gynae back in October who left a two sentence report on my file saying she had removed endometriosis spots. She told me that that removal (via heat) was the treatment along with the coil they’d fitted.

6cm ovarian cyst
Hey guys, Last Feb I had a lap to remove a large cyst on my left ovary and some endometriosis that they could remove at the time (not all was removed due to it being close to some organs etc) and they also inserted a mirena coil as I had the copper before and it is supposed to “help”. Now, about 14

The best thing I did was to get a
laparoscopy
in November last year which revealed I had been suffering with Stage 4 burned out and inoperable Rectovaginal Endometriosis, blocked tubes - one of which was open in a HSG 2019(!) - which answered why I had never fallen pregnant naturally.
