Emergency spinal surgery 3 days from starting the car t trial at Dana Farber.
He got a good eight months out of
Keytruda
and was looking forward to the car t trial. My concern is he has been off treatments since his last infusion of
Keytruda
on November 17. The last scan showed his Mets stable except for this massive one on his spine. Bob sure is a fighter.

Update as we approach Christmas!
Lastly I just had my 8th
Keytruda
infusion and still have not had any side effects that I can identify, so I feel very fortunate knowing that many have experienced serious side effects.

My trial update 18 weeks in
Had my #4
Keytruda
infusion treatment and blood work. PSA doubled to 52 since last appointment and treatment 6 weeks prior. Disappointing and concerning.

Update on Keytruda after 6 Infusions
It’s been and interesting ride with
Keytruda
, and after the initial 6 infusions things are stable. When starting
Keytruda
my PSA was 34 after the initial 3 infusions my PSA dropped to a low of 11. The next 3 infusions my PSA has risen to 13 but has stayed stable.

My trial update 12 weeks in - Positive results
After Actinium225 infusion on day 1 +
Keytruda
infusions every 6 weeks (3 so far) + daily Enzalutamide, had updated blood work and scans at week 12. Bone and CT scans showed stability. Ga68 PSMA scan provided much clearer picture and results.

Update
Onco said we will not see fast results like some other drugs like
Keytruda
and Taf/Mek. A little nerve racking because of course time isn’t on our side. He has a high tumor burden. I would attach some pictures of his arm but it may be too much for some. He is well managed on pain medicine regimen.

Hospice Journey 12/10 t 12/17/21
Way back during the chemo and
Keytruda
cycles I had a port for infusion. The port had not been accessed in probably a year so we weren't sure it would still flush. Fortunately it did and the hospice folks were able to get me a medicine pump.

Not responding
Zytiga, Lynparza,
Keytruda
. With the Docetaxel his psa just keeps going up. He just had his fourth round. Spoke with his local oncologist yesterday. He said if someone doesn’t respond to Docetaxel it ususally is a poor prognosis. I have not yet heard from Dana Farber Dr Beltran.

Undetectable PSA
I have 16 months of undetectable PSA with about five more months of treatment with
keytruda
and Lupron. That will finish up my two years of treatment. I am wondering about what happens next. tennis8285

My husband has been on Zytiga, Lynparza as well as

Low Red Blood Cell count
I am on Lupron and
Keytruda
. I have low red blood cell count (3.44), low hemoglobin (10.5), and low hematocrit (33.0). These are typical values and vary at most 6% (up/down) monthly over the past year. Physician assistant says it is not diet related.

It is likely mRNA technology is going to be what cures cancer in the next 5 to 10 years
Allison M D Anderson and Houston Methodist world leaders in immuno therapy research … check point inhibitors – Ipilimumab (Yervoy)
Keytruda
etc. before anyone in medicine thought the immune system could kill cancer.

Weight gain on Keytruda?
I was wondering if anyone out there has gained weight on
Keytruda
. I have been on it for just over a year now and seem to be gaining steadly. Last time I gained weight like this is when I was first diagnosed. I feel great so other symtoms, so was thinking maybe
Keytruda
was the reason.
