For those who live in Mississippi do you know If the school district will allow your child to be on CBD oil?
Hello everyone! I was wondering if any if you are from Mississippi and if you are is CBD oil ok for children to be on in school? I also saw hemp oil at walmart(shocking) and I was wondering because it seems most medicines are not going to work since my son has both ADHD and ODD. We have taking him off

Adderall & Adderall XR
I have been taking Adderall 30 mg, 2 in the am & 1 at noon for years. In November of last year, I went on Medicaid because I am disabled (I have Rheumatoid arthritis, among other things). Medicaid won't pay for my Adderall nor my opioid painkillers. When I explained my problem to my psychiatrist,

Epilepsy, not having empathy, outbursts, and insults that are impulsive
Hello. I'm on 500mg of Keppra, and 15mg Mirtazapine. Lately, I have been insulting towards people, without realising and I have also been quite nasty to people, again, impulsively, without realising. I also have aspergers, and depression. Is it down to the Aspergers, depression, and epilepsy? Some think

I have a 6 year old boy with ADHD and ODD. He takes focalin xr and it has helped him a lot. I’ve noticed though that when it’s out of his system, he really has trouble communicating. For example, I could ask him a question and his answer will have absolutely nothing to do with what I asked. He sometimes

Epilepsy after encephalitis
Hi everyone, my partner had encephalitis (unknown cause) last October. He has been taking a high dose of steroids since then to rule out an autoimmune cause but, since then he has been having between 1-3 seizures everyday. We have been told they are complex partial seizures and while his recovery is

Liver tests with AEDs?
Hi, I’ve been living with epilepsy for around 18 years and have been taking Keppra and Clobazam for around 16 (1000mg and 10mg respectively, everyday). A colleague of mine who also has epilepsy said I should be having regular liver tests...is this correct? I rarely hear from my doctor about my condition

I have One Kidney...
I am 45 years old and only have one kidney. My Right kidney was removed due to a birth defect when I was 2 months old. I was very sick as a child, on daily Septra until about age 13 (off and on). I had chronic kidney and bladder infections. For some reason at around age 13 I was just fine....not sick

Hello to All
Hello, I've been just recently diagnosed with type 5 Limbic ADHD (and a lot of other types too lol) and I'm just starting the experimenting of what medications will work best for me and what won't. I also suffer from muscles back and neck pain, on top of really awful anxiety. I've just started taking

Quillivant xr and tachycardia
My daughter was diagnosed with atrial tachycardia when she was almost 2. She has been off of meds for about 4 years now with no episodes. She was just recently diagnosed with ADD and her so doctor prescribed the lowest dosage of Quillivant XR. Anyone have any experience taking it after being diagnosed

Just an update
So, we thought we had it all figured out with the Focalin XR, but after about 4 months, it began to loose its effectiveness and my son began experiencing more unpleasant side effects. We discovered that the Cyprohetadine or the combination of it and the Focalin was really making him miserable. An hour

Keppra
Had my appointment with a consultant at the hospital and she has decided that she would like to up my dose of keppra, at the time I said ok I would, but I don’t know about anyone else I always come out thinking over the conversation I have had. Anyway I realised that she hadn’t read my notes properly

Keppra - positive/negative experiences?
I am currently taking 125mg x 2 per day Lamictal (Lamotrigine), in the process of increasing my dose due to recent seizures, but the medication still doesn't seem to be working as I had another tonic-clonic yesterday. As an alternative my neurologist has recommended Keppra but it is ultimately up to

Feeling down
My son has been on Focalin XR and Guanfacine ER for about four months. Things improved somewhat as the daily phone calls from the school stopped; however the incidents he has had seem to feel more dangerous. He tried to hurt another child at school on Friday and had to be picked up. His outbursts are
