I am currently taking concerta and I been getting an itch everywhere on my face after the medication wears off. It's really annoying. I might go back to adderall xr ig this continues.

If it's happening on a regular basis, you should contact your doctor. The thing about medications with ADHD patients is everyone reacts differently, so there needs to be some experimenting to see what works best for you.

Do you know the reason why you changed from Adderall to Concerta?

And if you don't get any side effects from the other medication then my suggestion is to change back, if you don't feel that the good outweighs the negative. But you need to talk to your psychiatrist or doctor before doing anything. Abruptly stopping taking medication or changing without asking, can often times be dangerous. And continuing taking medicine while getting side effects, might not be a good idea either, unless your doctor tells you it's fine.

Hope things will turn out good for you, and that you find the right medication.

Yeah I took adderall xr for a long time but I started to get I believe it was blood pressure and circulation problems in my hands and feet. So I told my doctor and he didn't know what it was. So we decided to switch to concerta xr. The concerta xr was slightly better.
